Ninh Hai: Ready for International Kiteboarding Week

After 2 years of being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the International Kite Surfing Week and Ninh Hai Cultural Tourism Event 2022 will be held from December 16 to 25 with many unique and meaningful programs and activities. Up to now, Ninh Hai district has carefully prepared all conditions with the desire to organize the Kite Surfing Week successfully, attracting a large number of tourists to participate, promoting the continuous development of local tourism.

The event organizing committee directs all levels and relevant professional agencies to prepare all conditions to serve the Kite Surfing Week. Especially in terms of facilities, restaurants, hotels, motels in the district and at the main locations where the program is held, focusing on food hygiene and safety as well as improving the quality of rooms, ensuring security and order. Currently, the district People's Committee is also actively directing urban renovation to carry out environmental sanitation work at tourist spots, preparing facilities during the event to ensure safety and the best possible quality. The district focuses on strengthening information work, promoting propaganda on the mass media system, especially applying and promoting the strengths of social networking platforms. In addition, the relevant authorities have developed detailed plans to ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting, and explosion prevention and fighting, especially ensuring absolute safety for locations with a large number of tourists and people attending, avoiding jostling and trampling each other, causing danger.

The International Kiteboarding Week and Ninh Hai Cultural Tourism Event 2022 takes place at the end of December, which is assessed by experts to have many suitable factors for kiteboarding such as: beautiful sea, not too deep water, few waves and strong winds, so every year many international tourists often come here to play this sport. The international kiteboarding event with the participation of 70 professional kiteboarders from 15 countries. During the event, visitors will see the most beautiful surfing performances, the most difficult techniques performed by international professional athletes.

In addition to kite surfing performances, during the 10-day festival, there will be many exciting activities such as: Boat racing on Nai Lagoon; Women's beach volleyball competition; Journey to conquer NaRa - Binh Tien Golf Course; Vinh Hy Yellow Apricot Flower Festival associated with OCOP booth exhibition; Journey to explore Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve; Cross-country race to conquer Binh Tien - Vinh Hy route.

Comrade Tran Minh Thai, Chairman of Ninh Hai District People's Committee, said: The International Kiteboarding Week and Ninh Hai Cultural Tourism Event 2022 aims to introduce the achievements and potential for cultural, sports and tourism development of the district; honor the value of culture, sports and coastal tourism, create attractiveness to attract investors to promote joint ventures, associations, investment cooperation in socio-economic development in general and tourism of the district in particular, especially promoting the Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve and Vinh Hy Bay scenic spot to promote Ninh Hai tourism to develop rapidly and sustainably, contributing to building Ninh Hai into a center for economic development in tourism of Ninh Thuan. Up to now, the preparation work is taking place urgently, the locality is coordinating with news agencies to promote propaganda about the landscape, nature and people of Ninh Hai before, during and after the event. Urban beautification work and infrastructure conditions are all prepared by relevant professional agencies to ensure the event takes place in the most thoughtful manner.
