In the 2024 training season, new soldiers of Regiment 125 in Chi Linh City had more activities during their breaks thanks to the "Multi-purpose Training Box". The box has a compact, eye-catching shape, the inside is scientifically arranged, divided into many compartments to store books, newspapers, medical equipment, storage compartments, etc. Although it has just been put into use, the "Multi-purpose Training Box" is loved by many officers and soldiers of Regiment 125.
Major Nguyen Quoc Binh, Propaganda Assistant, Political Department (Hai Duong Provincial Military Command), the author of the above initiative, said that during training outside the training ground, especially during field trips, there are often difficulties, and rest and group activities are sometimes monotonous. The initiative "Multi-purpose training ground box" aims to overcome these limitations, providing a good support for propaganda, education and cultural and artistic activities. The most special feature of the "Multi-purpose training ground box" is that it is highly mobile, convenient for moving outside the training ground and training grounds with low production costs. Within 1 week, Major Nguyen Quoc Binh came up with the idea and completed the above initiative.
Up to now, the initiative of "Multi-purpose training box" has been deployed and applied in a number of agencies and units of the Provincial Military Command. Major Nguyen Trung Hieu, Deputy Political Commissar of Battalion 2, Regiment 125, assessed: "Multi-purpose training box" not only meets the spiritual needs of soldiers during breaks, but also contributes to strengthening solidarity and camaraderie within the unit. Thanks to that, Party work and political work within the force have become more diverse.
Many initiatives and technical improvements of officers and soldiers have been widely applied in training and maintenance of weapons and training equipment. Typical examples include the initiatives “Tools for removing handguards on AK submachine guns”, “Multi-purpose gun loading and unloading equipment”, etc. These initiatives have been applied in practice, bringing practical results, contributing to reducing labor and increasing productivity of machinery and equipment.
Major Vuong Anh Tuan, Head of the Armament Department, Logistics and Engineering Department (Provincial Military Command), author of the initiative "Tool to remove the handguard details on AK submachine guns" said that the above device is used to remove details in the process of organizing maintenance and repair of AK submachine guns more conveniently and easily. Thanks to the simple but effective idea, with only 100,000 VND/product, the initiative has overcome difficulties in the process of maintaining AK submachine guns, ensuring maintenance progress and completing the unit's tasks. Major Vuong Anh Tuan's initiative is highly appreciated by all levels and can be applied in all units.
Attached to learning and following Uncle Ho's example
The movement of writing topics and technical innovation initiatives in agencies and units of the Provincial Military Command is always considered a key and breakthrough step in implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. In particular, paying attention to investing in equipment and promoting research and innovation in teaching tool models is an important solution to improve the training quality and combat readiness of the entire force.
According to the Provincial Military Command, responding to the movement to promote initiatives and improve teaching aid models, from the unit's training practices, officers and soldiers in the entire force have actively participated in research and improvement. On average, each year the whole province has 8-10 models and initiatives researched and improved. From this movement, many initiatives have been painstakingly researched by officers and soldiers, with high applicability, and applied in practice, contributing to reducing investment costs and saving time and effort.
Recently, the Provincial Military Command launched the 2024 Training Preparation Competition. According to Major Doan Ngoc Uyen, Military Science Assistant, Staff Department (Provincial Military Command), the competition aims to promote the intelligence and creativity of collectives and individuals in the entire force. Many units have proactively overcome difficulties, actively researched, learned, invested funds and equipment to build initiatives and improve models. The highlight of this year's competition is that 97 participating initiatives and improvements were all highly appreciated, of good quality and creativity. "The competition is also an opportunity for officers and soldiers to consolidate their knowledge, exchange and learn from models and initiatives," added Major Doan Ngoc Uyen.
With many specific solutions, including researching initiatives, improving teaching aids, and investing in training equipment, the annual training test results of the entire provincial armed forces always have 75% or more achieving good or excellent results.
