Industrial enterprises in Hai Duong create 7,000 more jobs in the first quarter

Many units have come into operation, expanding their consumption markets... so the demand for labor in Hai Duong in the first quarter has increased.

In the first quarter of 2025, the labor utilization index in the industrial sector increased by 1.9% over the same period. Accordingly, the number of employees in industrial enterprises increased by nearly 7,000 people compared to the same period last year, bringing the total number of employees in this sector in the province to 311,000.

Some industries with high labor demand include: other processing and manufacturing industries increased by 5%; textile industry increased by 4.7%; rubber and plastic production increased by 4.6%; machinery and equipment manufacturing industry not classified elsewhere increased by 4%; paper and paper products production increased by 3.5%; electrical equipment production increased by 2.9%; food production and processing industry, electronic products production both increased by 2.7%...

The labor force in the industrial sector has increased due to the completion of many factories and the expansion of production by some enterprises, which have signed many orders. This shows that people have more jobs, thereby improving their quality of life.

During the same period, some industries saw a decrease in labor demand, such as: Production of other non-metallic mineral products decreased by 4.5%; other mining decreased by 4.1%; production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam, etc. decreased by 1.1%.
