Several well-known PC manufacturers have also been quick to announce their own first Copilot+ laptops, aiming to attract consumers with highlights such as thin, powerful design and excellent battery life to compete well with the MacBook Air. Here is a list of these products.
Surface Laptop
The Surface Laptop has always been considered a true competitor to the MacBook Air thanks to its sleek and relatively thin design. However, it has always struggled with two specific issues: performance and battery life. Now, as a Copilot+ PC with a Snapdragon X chip inside, the latest Surface Laptop easily overcomes these hurdles, allowing it to fully realize its potential.
Microsoft Surface Laptop
A host of aesthetic improvements are also coming to the Surface Laptop, including slimmer bezels, a larger haptic trackpad, and a few new color options. At a starting price of $999, it’s a pretty exciting product.
There's also the new Surface Pro, a unique 2-in-1 that inspires a new generation of Windows tablets and a detachable 2-in-1 with major improvements in performance and battery life.
Galaxy Book4 Edge
At 10mm thick, the Galaxy Book4 Edge is even thinner than the MacBook Air. This is thanks to the presence of an ARM chip inside that helps achieve extremely high performance. The size alone makes it one of the remarkable devices, available in 14-inch and 16-inch.
Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge
Both are slim and come with AMOLED displays, although the 16-inch model has some extras like an HDMI port, an even larger touchpad, and some larger storage configurations. Samsung is also adding a new feature that helps it connect its products together. Copilot on PC can connect directly to Phone Link and run tasks on your Samsung phone or tablet.
The downsides are the bottom bezel and the large keyboard. The 14-inch model starts at $1,350, while the 16-inch model starts at $1,450.
Dell XPS 13
The Copilot+ looks identical to the Intel-powered model. The seamless glass trackpad blends invisibly into the palm rest, creating a minimalist, modern aesthetic. The capacitive touch buttons that replace the function keys are perhaps the most criticized aspect of the design, along with the lack of a headphone jack.
Dell XPS 13
The new XPS 13 looks great with the Snapdragon X Elite chip for powerful performance and battery life that's guaranteed to be on par with the MacBook Air M3. It's only $50 more than the Intel version, starting at $1,300 for 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
HP OmniBook X 14
HP has taken the opportunity to rebrand its entire laptop lineup. The familiar Spectre and Envy brands are gone, replaced by Omni, with the flagship OmniBook X 14 featuring Copilot+ and a fairly new interface. The company is really leaning into the MacBook aesthetic, but the OmniBook X 14 has its own appeal, especially in white.
HP OmniBook X 14
The slim chassis and softly rounded edges. The keyboard's design language and the color accents along the function row keys make it stand out when compared to previous HP laptops and many other Copilot+ PC options.
The OmniBook X 14 will start at $1,150 for the Snapdragon X Elite configuration that pairs 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x
It’s one of the thinnest laptops around, measuring just 12.7mm thick and weighing less than 1.36kg. It also has a 14.5-inch OLED display, a quad-speaker sound system (upward-firing tweeters), and a large touchpad.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x
Otherwise, the Yoga Slim 7x bears a stronger resemblance to other Lenovo Yoga laptops, only smaller, more powerful, and much more durable. There are also AI features, which are the strongest points of the Copilot+ platform.
