According to Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Brokers Association, the recent passing of three important Law projects by the National Assembly, namely the Land Law (amended), the Real Estate Business Law (amended) and the Housing Law (amended), has important significance in positively impacting the development of the real estate market.

The strict provisions of the Laws will contribute to supporting businesses in developing real estate projects. More specifically, creating transparency, fairness and opportunities for real investors and investors with full capacity.
Explaining the reason why recently, a series of foreign real estate investors have come to seek opportunities in the Vietnamese market, Mr. Dinh said that Vietnam is a country with a very large potential, in which it is the only country in Southeast Asia that is lacking in supply and the demand for supply is very large, causing foreign investors to seek to invest in real estate.
In the real estate market of the Southwest, the Chairman of VARS assessed that the Southwest region is a region with great potential because it possesses many favorable conditions in terms of nature and climate. This place not only promotes the growth capacity of agriculture and seafood exports but also strongly attracts FDI capital flows in the fields of industry, clean energy, logistics, etc.
In addition, the provinces and cities in the region also become the driving force to strengthen intra-regional trade connections, between the region and Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast and the whole country.
This is an opportunity for the region to improve the quality of life of its people, as well as an opportunity for investors to develop real estate projects in the Southwest to meet the housing needs of the people.
Boost for the real estate market
Accordingly, the real estate market in the Southwest is becoming an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors as positive information about traffic infrastructure has been and is being strongly deployed.

In the period of 2023 - 2025, the Southwest region has started construction of a series of horizontal expressways, namely An Giang - Can Tho - Hau Giang - Soc Trang and Cao Lanh - An Huu, with a total length of more than 215km and a total investment of more than 51,000 billion VND.
In particular, the Trung Luong - My Thuan - Can Tho expressway has been opened to traffic and the implementation of the Vinh Thanh industrial park project has created a boost for the regional real estate market.
Taking an example to see the potential rise of real estate associated with public investment, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh pointed out that 10 years ago, Quang Ninh was just a small province with underdeveloped infrastructure and economy.
However, there are many development opportunities, when the transportation system is promoted, many real estate investors have come to this area. Among them are many big names such as Geleximco, Vingroup, Sungroup, BIM... with large-scale projects.
“That said, in reality, real estate in the Southwest also has great potential. In addition, real estate prices in the region are very low, and above all, there are many “eagles” hiding. When public investment and infrastructure systems are promoted, they will promote the development of the region’s existing factors,” Mr. Dinh emphasized.
