On the morning of September 2, at Tien Sa military port, Da Nang, Brigade 172, Naval Region 3 held a ceremony to admit new party members on the occasion of National Day. The two outstanding people admitted this time were professional soldier Hoang Ngoc Tuan, Artillery Squadron Leader, Ship 277 and professional soldier Lieutenant Le Bat Thang, Artillery Officer, Ship 331.
Comrade Hoang Ngoc Tuan shared: “It is an honor to be a soldier, I feel more proud than ever to be standing today in the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the vanguard of the working class, the working people and the entire Vietnamese nation. I myself and every soldier, every party member will constantly study and practice political mettle, revolutionary ethics, professional qualifications and working style, ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks to be worthy of the trust and love of the Party, the State and the people”.

In line with the requirements and tasks during the National Day holiday, Brigade 172, Naval Region 3 has thoroughly grasped the orders, directives and instructions from all levels on combat readiness. The unit has fully developed and organized training plans; strictly maintained the order and duty regime at all levels; regularly organized inspections, maintained the synchronization and combat readiness of weapons and technical equipment, and is ready to carry out missions at sea, avoiding being passive and surprised in any situation.
In addition, Brigade 172 also effectively organized cultural, artistic and sports activities at the unit, creating a useful playground during long holidays, building solidarity within the unit, directly contributing to improving the spiritual life of officers and soldiers.

Previously, in Tra Kot commune, Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam province, Brigade 161, Naval Region 3, coordinated with Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union to organize the program "A shirt to raise green dreams" in 2024.
The program was accompanied by the Youth Union members of Quang Nam province; News Department of Voice of Vietnam; Religious Publishing House; a number of kind-hearted individuals and families of officers and soldiers of Brigade 161 who donated, supported, and awarded 50 gifts, 10 scholarships to children in especially difficult circumstances and more than 200 sets of clothes, 100kg of rice, 50 comic books to Tran Phu Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Tra Kot commune, Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam province.
The program "Green Dream Shirt" is a meaningful humanitarian activity on the occasion of preparing for the new school year, aiming to encourage, motivate and support students in difficult circumstances to strive to excel in their studies and life.

At the same time, it contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers of the entire Naval Region 3 and its sister units for the cause of protecting, caring for and educating children.
