The Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association held a ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery; offered incense to commemorate the martyr journalist Hoang Loc and the heroic martyrs resting at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Dong Que commune, Song Lo district.

The Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association also offered incense at the Martyrs Cemetery of Phuc Thang Ward; visited and presented gifts to relatives of martyr journalist Nguyen Van Nhac at Xuan Mai residential group, Phuc Thang Ward, Phuc Yen City.
Journalist Nguyen Van Nhac was born on March 5, 1925 in Vinh Phuc, was a reporter for the Truth Newspaper, now Nhan Dan Newspaper. The journalist died in 1949 at a very young age. With many contributions to revolutionary and journalistic activities, journalist Nguyen Van Nhac was recognized by the Fatherland for his heroic sacrifice in the resistance war against the French, and Nhan Dan Newspaper awarded him the Medal "For the Cause of Nhan Dan Newspaper".
As part of a series of gratitude activities, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association visited, encouraged and presented gifts to two war invalid journalists: Journalist Vu Quang Dong, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vinh Phuc Newspaper and Journalist Nguyen Nam Trang, former Head of the Special Topics Department, Vinh Phuc Radio and Television Station; thereby, expressing the concern and gratitude of the members of the Provincial Journalists Association to journalists who have made important contributions to the journalism career as well as the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Also on this occasion, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association supported the Gratitude Fund of Dong Que Commune, Song Lo District. This is an activity demonstrating the precious tradition and morality of “remembering the source of water when drinking” of our nation.
