Many Chinese travel agencies are surveying to bring tourists to Phu Quoc on April 30 and May 1 holidays.

On March 24, about 30 travel companies and agencies in China (Famtrip) came to survey tourism in Phu Quoc.

Chinese tourists visit and survey places such as Hon Thom cable car, Cau Hon and experience island tours, coral diving (An Thoi ward), survey Phu Quoc Safari, VinWonders Phu Quoc theme park, Echuri Vung Bau golf course...

Mr. Yan Lei - representative of a Chinese travel agency - said he has been to Phu Quoc 3 times. Each time he comes, he sees Phu Quoc differently, the transportation infrastructure to tourist attractions is strongly developed.

According to him, Phu Quoc is truly a beautiful island, with fresh air, good environment and especially rich and unique history and indigenous culture.

"We hope that Phu Quoc will develop even more in the near future, with many unique, attractive, and classy tourism products to serve tourists. In the near future, especially during the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays, we will connect and bring many Chinese tourists to Phu Quoc for vacation," said Mr. Yan Lei.

Through the survey, the Chinese travel agency hopes that tourism businesses in Phu Quoc will develop tourism products, tour schedules and improve the quality of cuisine to suit the Chinese tourist market.

"I know that there are currently about 20 flights bringing international visitors to Phu Quoc Island. The number of international visitors, especially Chinese visitors, is expected to increase during the April 30 and May 1 holidays because relevant units are preparing to open more charter flights to bring visitors from this country to Phu Quoc," said Mr. Ha Tuan Minh, director of Vietnam Winner International Travel Company Limited in Phu Quoc City.

Kien Giang Department of Tourism said that in 2024, Kien Giang will welcome about 130,000 Chinese tourists.

The locality strengthens connection, promotion, promotion, destination introduction and encourages businesses to continuously improve the quality of service products, accommodation and many unique and classy tourism products to attract more international tourists to Phu Quoc Island.
