Tonight (April 8), the leader of Kim Thanh District Police (Hai Duong Province) confirmed to VietNamNet that they had found the person who lost the money and organized a ceremony to honor the elderly woman who picked up the money.

Previously, on the morning of April 5, on National Highway 17B (through Dong Cam Commune, Kim Thanh District), Ms. Bui Thi Hue (born in 1953, residing in Phi Gia Village, Dong Cam Commune) picked up a bag of 500,000 VND bills, with a quantity of 100 bills (total amount of money picked up was 50 million VND).

Immediately after finding it, Ms. Hue brought it to Dong Cam Commune Police to hand it over, and asked the police to find and return the money to the owner.

Immediately after receiving the information, Dong Cam Commune Police announced to find the owner of the lost money.

Using professional measures, Dong Cam Commune Police identified the owner as Mr. Nguyen Van Coc (residing in Tam Ky Commune, Kim Thanh District) and returned the money to this person.
