The 4th De Men Children's Awards Ceremony - 2023 was held by the Sports and Culture Newspaper (Vietnam News Agency) on May 31 in Hanoi.

In addition to the Grand Prize, four equal prizes named "De Men's Aspiration" were awarded to a series of paintings by Hoang Nhat Quang (11 years old, Lang Son), "Mr. Ba Bi and the children in the dream" (a novel by Lac An, Kim Dong Publishing House), "In a place with many dragons" (a novel manuscript by Moc An) and "The goose king in the lake village" (a novel manuscript by writer Uong Trieu).
Two awards from the Jury were given to "Nghe ó Hai Xoay" (a novel by Pham Anh Xuan, Literature Publishing House - Tan Viet Books) and "Me, my father, and..." and "Tu nhung thu thu" (a collection of manuscripts by Doan Lu Thuy Phuong, 10 years old).
The Cricket Children's Award is an annual art award founded by the Sports and Culture newspaper since 2020, to award outstanding artistic compositions and performances "by" children, or "for" children. The award categories include: the Grand Prize named "Cricket Knight"; a number of equal prizes named "Cricket Desire", and other awards proposed by the Jury each year.
The Organizing Committee awarded certificates to the Top 10 of the 4th Cricket Awards.
This year's 4th season attracted 121 works/groups of works created, completed or published between January 1, 2022 and April 20, 2023. After 2 rounds of judging, the Preliminary Jury of 8 members discussed and scored to announce the Top 10 best works for the final round.
Overall assessment of this year’s award, poet Tran Dang Khoa, Vice President of the Vietnam Writers Association and Chairman of the Jury, affirmed that this year’s results were quite comprehensive. There were many good works from this award that added richness to the treasure trove of children’s art.
Writer Tran Duc Tien was born in 1953 in Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province, and currently lives in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. He writes for both children and adults. Many of his works have been included in textbooks such as "Dewdrops of Night" (Literature 6, volume 1, Creative Horizon series), "Flying Fish Practice Flying" (Vietnamese 2, volume 2, Creative Horizon series), "Little Friends in the House" (Vietnamese 3, volume 1, Knowledge Connection series), "Cuckoo Flowers" (Vietnamese 4, volume 2, Creative Horizon series), "End of Street Horizon" (Vietnamese 4, volume 1, Knowledge Connection series)...
"Hello!... Is that you?" is the sequel to the famous fairy tale "Xom Bo Giau" (2019).
