Enhance career orientation
Recently, many students and parents participated in the career counseling program and student streaming after secondary school in 2024 in person. The program's guests gave students and parents an overview of career education and student streaming, as well as information on occupations at vocational training institutions, enrollment needs, labor situation in the province, job opportunities, labor market, etc. Pham Huu Phuoc, a student at Tan Phu Secondary School, Dong Xoai City, shared: Participating in the career counseling program is very meaningful for me as well as other 9th grade students. Binh Phuoc strives for at least 28% in 2024; 30% in 2025 of junior high school graduates to continue studying at vocational training institutions at elementary and intermediate levels. Identifying that career counseling and guidance for students plays an important role in helping them choose the right career path, suitable for their abilities, qualifications as well as family conditions, over the past time, educational institutions have actively organized career counseling and guidance in many forms. Principal of Tan Phu Junior High School Nguyen Viet Tuyen emphasized: Junior high school students are at the age that need to be counseled to orient their future careers. Each student has different abilities and strengths, so orienting their future career choices is very important for them to develop themselves and meet the needs of society and the labor market.

Connecting to market needs
Recognizing the importance of linking training with the recruitment needs of enterprises, in recent years, Eastern College (Dong Xoai City) has connected with enterprises inside and outside the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group system to help students access the labor market early. In 2024, the school signed contracts with enterprises outside the group to participate in the training process; receive students for internships and develop solutions for recruiting graduates. Mr. Nguyen Huy Dao, Vice Principal of the school, affirmed: The school is very interested in practice, internships as well as experience at enterprises for students. In addition to connecting with enterprises to help students have in-depth internships and basic internships first, the school also regularly organizes visits for students to experience and grasp the labor market... so that after graduation, they can go to work immediately.

According to enterprises, vocational training linked to the labor market is the optimal direction. Linking training and career guidance between schools and enterprises is an effective and practical vocational training trend, thereby increasing employment opportunities for students right in the locality. Mr. Tran Quang Vu, Human Resources Director of Jason Furniture Vietnam Co., Ltd., Dong Xoai III Industrial Park shared: Binh Phuoc province is calling for investment from FDI companies, so it needs a main source of labor that has been trained through school. For example, a company with a scale of up to several hundred workers not only needs their production profession but also maintenance workers, electricians, welders, etc. These are professions that any company needs. I hope that vocational training institutions will focus more on professions that serve industry and are suitable for the development orientation of Binh Phuoc province in the coming time.
The “key” to meeting integration requirements
The connection between vocational training institutions and enterprises has brought practical results, contributing to the gradual professionalization of the relationship between enterprises and training institutions to improve training quality and adapt more quickly to the labor market. Mr. Tran Duy Khanh, Director of Dong Xoai Factory, Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Company, Dong Xoai City shared: When studying and training in the province, along with having time to practice and gain experience at enterprises, students will be confident in working after graduation. The factory always cares and gives priority, especially to local workers because they have a more sustainable attachment to the factory.

In the past, the vocational education system of Binh Phuoc was quite modest, but now there are many vocational education institutions in the province, including 2 colleges. Facilities and infrastructure of schools are invested in; the teaching staff and management staff are standardized, meeting training needs; training professions are gradually adjusted to suit the economic structure, meeting the needs of the labor market.

The network of vocational training facilities in the province has been gradually arranged to suit local realities. Tran Van Trinh, a student at Binh Phuoc College, said: Before, I thought about going to university. But after being consulted by experts, supported by my family and realizing that the field of industrial electricity and electricity - electronics was suitable for me, I chose this major. Once I have chosen a major, I have to try really hard, focus on acquiring knowledge and skills to be successful in the future.
The innovation, improvement and synchronous application of solutions in vocational education of the units will bring about very high efficiency, not only improving the quality of training but also creating a foundation for students before entering the labor market. During the learning process, students will have practical experience at enterprises, thereby adapting quickly in the context of the province attracting many enterprises to invest in the area. In 2024, the rate of trained workers in Binh Phuoc is estimated to reach 67%, an increase of 2 percentage points compared to 2023. In 2025, the province strives for the rate of trained workers to reach 70%, an increase of 3 percentage points compared to 2024. In order for human resources to meet the requirements of development and integration, in the coming time, the province will continue to focus on developing both the breadth and depth of human resources; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of vocational training institutions; creating a mechanism to implement vocational training according to the requirements and criteria of enterprises as well as meeting the labor market.
