Specifically, for those who have completed the online procedures for issuing or reissuing a Driver's License, while waiting for the issuance of a PET Driver's License, people can present their Driver's License via the VNeID application or a physical Driver's License (if the Driver's License is still valid and has not been revoked).

In case the online application has been approved but not updated on the VNeID application, people can look up their Driver's License information on the Driver's License information page of the Traffic Police Department at: https://gplx.csgt.bocongan.gov.vn to present. Then update or add a new Driver's License on the VNeID application.

In case the application for renewal or re-issuance of a Driver's License is submitted directly to the Police Department, when participating in traffic, people must present the appointment letter from the agency that issues the renewal or re-issuance of the Driver's License or a photo of the Driver's License on PET material (the Driver's License has not been revoked). The Traffic Police will look up the Driver's License number and Citizen Identification number on the VNelD application platform or enter the Driver's License number and Citizen Identification number into the VNeID application, the Traffic Police Department's search page to compare the information on the Driver's License.

In case people have completed the procedures for issuing, exchanging or reissuing a Driver's License but have not been updated on the above application platforms because of insufficient time (03 days), the Traffic Police will base on the appointment letter, photo of the Driver's License, and Driver's License information on the Driver's License information page of the Traffic Police Department to determine whether the driver has a Driver's License or not.
