Information related to the prosecution of the criminal case of Stock Market Manipulation occurring at Asia-Pacific Securities Corporation (APS), Asia-Pacific Investment Corporation (API) and IDJ Vietnam Investment Corporation (IDJ) has attracted investors' attention.
In the session on June 26, the group of stocks APS, API, IDJ triggered a wave of sell-off. APS shares fell 9.79% to VND12,900/share, with a floor selling surplus of 12 million units.
API code decreased by 9.52% to VND11,400/share, with a floor price of 6 million units. Similarly, IDJ decreased by 9.85% to VND11,900/share, with a floor price of nearly 20 million units.
These are stocks belonging to the “APEC family”, which made waves in the stock market in 2021 with increases of up to ten times. However, these stocks later fell sharply.
APS, priced at around VND 5,000/share, suddenly accelerated sharply to a historic peak of VND 59,900/share on November 18, 2021. API reached a historic peak of VND 45,650/share in November 2021. IDJ reached a peak of VND 42,470/share (on November 18, 2021). However, these stocks then fell sharply.
Since the beginning of April 2023, these stocks have increased quite rapidly and are around 13,000-14,000 VND/share.
Regarding the prosecution, the companies announced that they were not the subjects involved and/or had activities related to the stock market manipulation case.
This incident does not affect or change the long-term orientation or normal operations of the company. At the same time, it does not affect the rights and legitimate interests of customers, shareholders and partners who are transacting and cooperating with the company.

* TVSI: Vietnam Stock Exchange (VNX) decided to suspend securities purchase activities on the listed securities market and the registered trading market for Tan Viet Securities JSC (TVSI) at Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
* HBC : Mr. Duong Van Hung, an independent member of the Board of Directors of Hoa Binh Construction Group Corporation, has just submitted his resignation letter on June 26. Mr. Hung's resignation letter will be considered by the General Meeting of Shareholders on June 27.
* ACG : The Board of Directors of An Cuong Wood Joint Stock Company approved the implementation of the plan to issue shares to pay the second dividend of 2022, the issuance rate is 11%. The expected issuance time is in the second and third quarters of 2023.
* BAF : BaF Vietnam Agriculture JSC decided to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong from the position of member of the Internal Audit Committee under the Board of Directors.
* TVC : According to the audited consolidated financial statements for 2022, Tri Viet Asset Management Group Corporation reported a negative profit after tax for parent company shareholders of nearly VND 683 billion, this loss is nearly double that of the self-made report.

* EVF : Mr. Le Manh Linh, Member of the Board of Directors of Electricity Joint Stock Finance Company, registered to buy 1.5 million EVF shares from July 3 to August 1, by agreement and order matching.
* SD9 : Mr. Le Hai Doan, member of the Board of Directors of Song Da 9 Joint Stock Company, bought more than 566,000 SD9 shares from May 23 to June 21. After the transaction, Mr. Doan owns more than 746,000 shares, accounting for 2.18%.
* KPF : Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen, a major shareholder of Koji Asset Investment JSC, sold 2.85 million KPF shares on June 21. Ms. Yen still holds more than 625,000 shares, accounting for 1.03%.
* DAG : Hung Phat Trading and Service Company Limited, a major shareholder of Dong A Plastic Group Corporation, registered to sell 10 million DAG shares from June 29 to July 28 by negotiation and order matching.
* LPB : Mr. Nguyen Quy Chien, Deputy General Director of Lien Viet Post Bank, registered to sell 345,000 LPB shares from June 30 to July 28 by negotiation and order matching. It is expected that if the transaction is successful, Mr. Quy will still hold more than 161,000 shares.
VN-Index
At the end of the session on June 26, VN-Index increased by 2.65 points (+0.23%) to 1,132.03 points. HNX-Index decreased by 0.52 points (-0.23%) to 231.01 points. UPCoM-Index decreased by 0.11 points (-0.13%) to 85.6 points.
Yuanta Vietnam Securities believes that the market may continue to increase. VN-Index may retest the resistance zone of 1,135-1,145 points in the next session. Short-term risks tend to increase. This is a period when it is very difficult to find high profits.
According to KB Vietnam Securities, in a positive scenario, VN-Index has many opportunities to expand its uptrend and move towards the next expected target area around 1.14x points before facing more obvious correction pressure.
Investors are recommended to continue applying the rotation trading strategy, holding a part of the position and combining buying at support - selling at resistance for each individual code with the remaining position.
