As a prestigious person among the Cao Lan ethnic group, over the years, Mr. Au Duc Hoi, Ngoc Tan village (zone 13), Ngoc Quan commune, Doan Hung district has always actively set an example, becoming a "bridge" between the Party, the government and the people in propagating and mobilizing people to well implement the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws and policies, and local regulations.
Mr. Au Duc Hoi and the residential area Party cell secretary regularly exchange and grasp the situation among the people.
The first impression we had when we met him was his calmness, simplicity and openness. With the responsibility and trust of the people, he has done a good job of propagating and mobilizing people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and local tasks; joining hands to promote good customs and practices, eliminating backward customs; contributing to preserving the national cultural identity and building a cultural life.
He said: “With the trust of the people, I tell myself to always be a good example, regularly learn and research the policies of the Party and the State through books, newspapers, and mass media; select information on social networks, and then propagate it so that people can understand and follow it. I myself actively participate in local activities and emulation movements, actively participate in economic development, and contribute to building my homeland to be more and more prosperous and civilized. I also always teach my children and grandchildren to be obedient, and each family member must always comply with the provisions of the law and be conscious of maintaining security and order.”
He often visits and talks to understand the thoughts and aspirations of the people, shares their difficulties, and answers their questions. When conflicts arise between families in the area, Mr. Hoi is always present, participating in mediation with an objective and clear-headed spirit to give the most correct, reasonable, and appropriate opinions.
Ngoc Tan village (area 13) has over 270 households, of which 98% are Cao Lan ethnic people. To contribute to preserving the traditional culture of the Cao Lan people, Mr. Hoi always encourages people to participate in cultural and artistic activities, physical training and sports to strengthen solidarity, village ties, and contribute to preserving and promoting the cultural traditions of their homeland. At the same time, he encourages people to regularly practice and preserve the traditional culture of their ethnic group such as: Singing Sinh ca, Veo ca, Chim gau dance, shrimp shoveling... Up to now, Ngoc Tan village has over 98% of households achieving the title of cultural family; the rate of poor households has decreased to 17 households, and the rate of near-poor households has decreased to 12 households.
