In a post shared on October 27, Thae Su Nyein explained that she came to the Miss Grand 2024 pageant not for the title of 2nd runner-up but for a higher position. The beauty also declared to oppose the Miss Grand organization to stand with National Director Soe Min Tun.

Soe Min Tun, who accompanied Thae Su Nyein throughout the Miss Grand 2024 pageant, is currently the National Director of the Miss Grand Myanmar Organization. He was also the one who snatched the crown, taking Thae Su Nyein out of the final round of the Miss Grand 2024 pageant on October 25.

Soe Min Tun is the whistleblower who accused the Miss Grand organization of offering $25,000 for the Country's Power of the Year award and treating the Myanmar representative unfairly.

In a conversation with the media, Mr. Nawat - President of the Miss Grand Organization - said that beauty Thae Su Nyein was manipulated by National Director Soe Min Tun into wanting to return the title.

Mr. Nawat told reporters that Miss Grand Myanmar 2023 - Ni Ni Lin Eain - had revealed that Soe Min Tun manipulated and controlled her throughout her tenure. Ni Ni Lin Eain is a representative of Myanmar and was crowned 1st runner-up at the Miss Grand Myanmar 2023 pageant held in Vietnam.

Chairman Nawat added that Ni Ni is protected by the contract signed with the Miss Grand organization so Soe Min Tun cannot interfere with her work within 1 year.

According to him, Soe Min Tun did not allow the beauty Thae Su Nyein to receive the title of 2nd Runner-up at the Miss Peace 2024 contest because he wanted her to continue to be under his control.

If beauty Thae Su Nyein does not receive the title of second runner-up, she will not sign a contract with the Miss Grand organization. Therefore, Soe Min Tun can continue to manage her and receive sponsorship from her popularity in her home country.

Mr. Nawat declared that he stood by the beauty Ni Ni in the fight against the National Director of the Miss Grand Myanmar Organization. Previously, Soe Min Tun was said to have threatened Ni Ni after she spoke out on her personal page.

Mr. Nawat also revealed that Soe Min Tun delayed the payment of the event hosting fee. According to the original plan, Myanmar was chosen as the venue for the Miss Grand 2024 pageant. However, Soe Min Tun refused to pay the full hosting fee, so the Miss Grand organization had to choose another venue.

In response to accusations that President Nawat offered $25,000 for the Country's Power of the Year award, a representative of the Miss Grand organization denied the accusation and affirmed that this figure was too small compared to the amount of money the organization earned from voting in the last season.

Before becoming the National Director of Miss Grand Myanmar, Soe Min Tun (born in 1995) was a model and won the title of Mr. Supranational Myanmar 2017. According to President Nawat's source, Mr. Soe Min Tun is living and working in Thailand.

For her part, 17-year-old beauty Thae Su Nyein did not comment, only continuously posting happy and beautiful images on her personal page after the Miss Grand organization revoked her 2nd Runner-up title.
