On the afternoon of November 11, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) Ho Chi Minh City Branch awarded the Jackpot 1 prize of the Power 6/55 lottery of the 1105th drawing held on the evening of October 26 to Mr. NTP.

Mr. P. is the owner of the Jackpot 1 prize winning ticket worth 148,717,283,700 VND (nearly 149 billion VND). This is the 3rd largest Vietlott lottery prize this year.

This lottery ticket was issued at a Vietlott point of sale on Hoa Binh Street, Hoa Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City.

At the award ceremony, Mr. P. said he was a freelancer living in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. P. revealed that he spent 20,000 VND to buy the "lucky" ticket.

The lucky ticket has the numbers 05 - 19 - 27 - 29 - 42 - 47. This winning number set is automatically selected by the machine.

According to regulations, Mr. P. is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place where the winning lottery ticket was issued, Ho Chi Minh City, with a total value of nearly 14.9 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and is deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.

At the award ceremony, Mr. P. donated 1 billion VND to Tam Tai Viet Fund.

Since the Power 6/55 lottery was launched (August 2017), the Jackpot 1 prize has the highest value ever in this type, worth more than 314 billion VND. This Jackpot 1 prize was found by Vietlott in the drawing on April 11, 2024.

Interestingly, there were 2 customers who won the jackpot prize, each worth over 157 billion VND. The winning tickets were sold at store number 14 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Ward 19, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City and number 10 Pham Dinh Ho, Ward 1, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City.

The second highest Jackpot 1 prize of more than 303 billion VND, found in draw 119, was awarded to a customer in Hanoi.
