Ngoc Trinh was proposed to be prosecuted

On January 6, the Investigation Police Agency (PC01 Department) of Ho Chi Minh City Police issued a conclusion on the investigation of the case, proposing to prosecute Tran Thi Ngoc Trinh (34 years old, residing in District 7) and Tran Xuan Dong (36 years old, residing in District 4) for the crime of Disturbing public order, according to Article 318 of the Penal Code.

In addition, Dong was also proposed to be prosecuted for the crime of Using fake documents of an organization, according to Article 341 of the Penal Code.

According to the police, during the investigation, Ngoc Trinh and Tran Xuan Dong realized their illegal behavior and expressed their desire to receive leniency from the law.

Previously, on October 19, 2023, PC01 Department initiated a case and prosecuted Ngoc Trinh and Tran Xuan Dong.

According to the investigation agency, Trinh did not have an A2 driver's license but still organized and carried out driving of large-displacement motorbikes with Dong using dangerous and offensive driving movements.

Both of them also organized filming, editing and posting clips on social networks, causing negative impacts and adversely affecting security and order in cyberspace.

On October 8, 2023, social media posted a clip recording the scene of model Ngoc Trinh driving a motorbike in the Thu Thiem tunnel area. She performed dangerous movements such as sitting with both legs to one side, even spreading both arms while the motorbike was traveling at high speed.

Many people then left mixed comments, saying that Ngoc Trinh's actions could cause many people to learn and follow, leading to the risk of affecting traffic safety.

After the social network posted, the authorities of Thu Thiem ward and the Traffic Police - Order Team of Thu Duc City Police stepped in to verify.

Thu Duc City Police then coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police to work, draw up administrative violation records against Ngoc Trinh and Tran Xuan Dong for a series of violations, and temporarily detained 2 motorbikes.
