(Dan Tri) - Tens of thousands of yellow butterfly chrysanthemums planted under the alluvial land at the foot of Long Bien Bridge are blooming under the autumn sun, creating a brilliant picture, attracting many people and tourists to come and see the flowers and take photos.

The Red River alluvial area (in Phuc Xa ward, Ba Dinh district) located at the foot of Long Bien bridge, which used to be a place where a lot of waste was concentrated, has now been cleaned up, with more flowers planted and the empty alluvial areas greened.

After the impact of floods, especially the rain and floods after Typhoon Yagi in September, the Red River rose and submerged all the trees and alluvial land in this area. The Women's Union of Ba Dinh District, with the core of the Women's Union of Phuc Xa Ward, has determined to turn the Red River bank and alluvial land into a bright spot for environmental protection, a beautiful photo and check-in location in the capital Hanoi.

In the past 2 months, this area has been planted with tens of thousands of butterfly chrysanthemums, with brilliant yellow colors under the autumn sun, creating a beautiful natural picture.

The yellow butterfly chrysanthemums grow well, changing the landscape below Long Bien bridge, attracting many people, especially photographers, to capture beautiful moments.

The colorful flower garden under Long Bien bridge creates a poetic picture, attracting many women to take photos and show off their figures.

From 6am, Dieu Linh and her boyfriend Dinh Hoa prepared their clothes and cameras to go to the foot of Long Bien bridge to take pictures of the brilliant yellow space here. "Through some friends, I learned that this area has recently planted many flowers, so I invited my girlfriend to come to capture beautiful moments for her, especially next to the ancient Long Bien bridge," Dinh Hoa said.

Many people did not hesitate to wake up early to take photos under the dawn light next to the hundred-year-old Long Bien bridge. Although she is not a morning person, after an acquaintance sent her pictures of the bright yellow flower gardens at the foot of Long Bien bridge, Ms. Nguyet Le decided to wake up at 5am with her friends to prepare to go out and see the flowers and take photos under the early morning sun. "I was quite surprised and overwhelmed by the space here. Even though I arrived early, there were already a lot of people there to take photos, proving that many people love beauty like me," Ms. Le shared.

The flower gardens are regularly cared for and watered daily by the Women's Union of Phuc Xa Ward.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan - Head of the Women's Association of Phuc Xa Ward - said that this was the third time she and the members of the association planted flowers at the alluvial ground at the foot of Long Bien Bridge, the previous two times were both flooded and ruined. "From a land that was once full of garbage to now being so green and beautiful is the result of the efforts of many people, who plowed, planted flowers, and took good care of them. This batch of flowers was planted in September and has now bloomed brilliantly," Ms. Lan shared.

New flowers are being planted on land cleared of debris after the flood.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, in the near future, the Women's Union of Phuc Xa Ward will continue to expand the flower growing area to make the space here more beautiful, green and welcome more people and tourists.
