Acceptance and putting into operation of Cam Lam Expressway

On April 20, the working delegation of the State Appraisal Council led by Mr. Bui Xuan Dung - Deputy Minister of Construction, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Council inspected the route to accept the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway project before putting it into operation.

Also attending were representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa provinces, investor consortium, project enterprises...

At the meeting, design consultants, supervision consultants, independent inspection consultants, and the council's standing body... all agreed with the investor's report and requested the Acceptance Council to approve and put the project into operation.

On the local side, representatives of the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction of the three provinces of Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan also confirmed that the project is qualified to be put into operation.

Localities also requested investors and relevant agencies to consider investing in telephone coverage throughout the area to ensure communication in case of emergency. In addition, Ninh Thuan province also requested to soon open the tunnel on the right to facilitate traffic on the highway.

At the same time, coordinate with the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security (C08) to conduct offline fines through the camera surveillance system on the route, research investment in building rest stops on the route...

The expert team and Council members determined that the investor's acceptance of the completed project was basically in accordance with regulations, met design requirements and completed related legal procedures.

The Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway project basically meets the conditions for the Council to approve the conditional acceptance results according to regulations to put the project into operation and use.

"Regarding the Nui Vung tunnel project, the Ministry will have a written report and ask for the opinion of the State Inspection Council to deploy the investment and put into use both tunnels on the highway," said Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Bui Xuan Dung highly appreciated Project Management Board 85, the investor, contractor, consultant and related parties for their good coordination and close supervision during the implementation process, contributing to the completion of the project.

The Council approved the acceptance results to put the project into operation, and at the same time requested the investor to accept the opinions of the expert team and related parties to review and promptly complete the remaining minor shortcomings.

The Council will have a written proposal for additional capital to invest in completing and putting into operation both Nui Vung tunnels to ensure operational efficiency and minimize risks when operating one tunnel. "Since this is a BOT project, we request that the parties promptly complete the acceptance documents to create conditions for the project enterprise to operate and ensure financial plans," said Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung.

Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway is one of three North - South Expressway component projects invested in the form of public - private partnership. The project has a total investment of 8,925 billion VND, with a length of 78.5 km, passing through 3 provinces of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan. The joint venture of investors is Deo Ca Group, Deo Ca Construction Company and Construction Investment Company 194.
