The Vietnamese New Year Festival at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House - an annual activity with rows of bright yellow apricot blossoms, calligraphy streets... is becoming a check-in spot for locals and tourists. This year, the festival will take place until the 5th day of Tet (February 14), with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City - The City I Love".

The festival combines installation art and multi-sensory experiences. The main campus inside the Youth Cultural House recreates images of the old Tet holiday with a three-room house gate, a craft village, a wood stove ...

Many artists, each wearing a different style of ao dai from traditional to modern, had a reunion at this meaningful space at the end of the year.

Singer Doan Truong said that everyone met to chat, take photos, write wishes together, donate books and gifts to children orphaned by Covid-19.

"More meaningfully, many artists and philanthropists sent clothes and accessories to the festival's Organizing Committee to sell and livestream to raise funds to buy Tet gifts for orphans, disadvantaged children and children with cancer," the male singer shared.

On the opening day, many artists attended such as: actress Hien Mai, Trinh Kim Chi, Dao Van Anh, Phi Thanh Van, Truong Minh Cuong, MC Quynh Hoa, Anh Quan, Ngoc Tien, singer Ngoc Anh, Doan Truong, Kyo York, runner-up - actress Bang Chau...

This year, there are more than 100 handcrafted yellow apricot trees, 2 m high, arranged in the apricot forest right in the center and the apricot road is planted around the 3-sided campus of the Youth Cultural House, Ho Chi Minh City, creating a bright yellow color on the entire street corner.
