Nghe An: Summary of Civil Judgment Enforcement Work in 2024

Chaired by Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh, this afternoon (December 4), the Provincial People's Committee held an online conference to summarize the work of civil and administrative judgment enforcement in 2024; deploy directions and tasks for 2025.

Conference overview.

In 2024, in the context of increasing number of cases, enforcement fees, and staff reduction, civil enforcement agencies in Nghe An have focused on implementing tasks promptly, identifying the right focus and key points. Civil and administrative enforcement work has achieved and exceeded 5/5 groups of assigned targets and tasks. Specifically, the units have completed nearly 17,860 cases and nearly 957 billion VND, reaching a rate of nearly 86% in terms of cases, more than 49% in terms of money, exceeding that of 2023. Recovering money and assets in criminal and economic corruption cases is over 33 billion VND.

The Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Nghe An province was proposed by the Ministry of Justice to be classified as a Collective that excellently completed its tasks in 2024.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals and collectives.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decided to award certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the enforcement of judgments in Nghe An province in 2024.

Praising and recognizing the achievements in the Civil Judgment Enforcement work of the province in 2024, including the active participation of relevant sectors and localities, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh also proposed a number of key tasks in 2025. For the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, coordinate with relevant sectors to improve the effectiveness of recovering lost and misappropriated assets in criminal cases of corruption and economic crimes; Do a good job of advising the Party Committee and authorities on leadership, direction and state management of civil and administrative judgment enforcement; Proactively dialogue and improve the effectiveness of citizen reception, handling complaints and denunciations in accordance with the provisions of law, minimizing the emergence of new complicated cases; Synchronously and effectively deploy administrative reform tasks of the Ministry of Justice, the General Department and the Provincial People's Committee. During this process, localities and relevant departments and branches will strengthen coordination within their authority to improve the effectiveness of enforcement work in the area./.
