Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department deploys tasks for 2025

On the afternoon of December 16, the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department held a conference to evaluate the activities of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Steering Committee in 2024; deploy the implementation of tasks of civil judgment enforcement (THADS) and administrative judgment enforcement in 2025.

Attending the conference were Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Steering Committee; leaders of the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department; leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

In 2024, with the strong and close direction of the Ministry of Justice, the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Civil Judgment Enforcement and the close coordination of agencies, departments, branches and localities, the civil judgment enforcement work of Lao Cai has achieved many important results, excellently completing the assigned targets and tasks, ranking 5th in work and 1st in money among 63 provinces and cities. Thereby, actively contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals, ensuring political security, order, social safety and economic development of the locality.

Specifically, the total number of cases subject to enforcement is 3,918, of which 3,569 cases have been completed, reaching 91.09%, exceeding 7.4% compared to 2023. The total amount of money subject to enforcement is more than 593 billion VND, of which more than 484.6 billion VND has been completed, reaching 81.73%, exceeding 34.8% compared to 2023.

Regarding state budget revenues, the number of cases to be executed during the year was 3,085, with an amount of more than VND 234.8 billion, of which 2,627 cases were executed (92.79%) and more than VND 213.1 billion (96.55%). Regarding the execution of corruption judgments, 84/115 cases with conditions for execution were executed with an amount of VND 200.5 billion/VND 202.5 billion, reaching 73.04% in terms of cases and 98.93% in terms of money.

Comrade Do Ngoc Ba, Director of the Provincial Department of THADS, informed about the results of THADS work in Lao Cai province in 2024.

The work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations has basically resolved most of the complaints, denunciations, requests, recommendations and reflections of citizens, preventing the emergence of hot spots and mass gatherings and complaints. During the year, 15 citizens were received; 135 petitions were received. As a result, 135/135 petitions were resolved, reaching a rate of 100%.

In 2025, the Provincial Department of Enforcement of Judgments sets out key tasks, including: Strictly implementing the annual work plan in the enforcement system. Regularly coordinating and exchanging with relevant agencies, departments and branches of the province to monitor, grasp, promptly direct and remove difficulties and obstacles, especially in organizing the enforcement of large-value, complicated cases, and key enforcement cases. Focusing on reviewing, verifying and classifying cases, and thoroughly resolving cases with conditions for enforcement. Effectively implementing inspection and self-inspection, especially the direction, inspection and supervision of enforcement officers in asset appraisal and auction activities. Speaking at the conference, Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Administrative Judgment Enforcement acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial Department of Administrative Judgment Enforcement in 2024. She requested the Department of Administrative Judgment Enforcement to focus on comprehensively implementing all fields of the industry, ensuring substantial and sustainable results; closely following the resolutions of the National Assembly, the Government, the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Justice, the General Department of Administrative Judgment Enforcement; focusing on resolving large and complicated cases, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles.
