At Hong Bang International University, the major with the highest admission threshold is medicine and dentistry: 22.5 points. This is also the threshold to ensure input quality as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The minimum score for traditional medicine and pharmacy is 21 points. The minimum score for medical laboratory technology, nursing - midwifery, and rehabilitation technology is 19 points.
As for the two majors of public health and nutrition, which belong to the health sector but are not bound by the entrance threshold according to regulations, the school accepts applications with a minimum score of 15 points.

In addition, the minimum admission score for majors in economics-management, international languages and cultures, social sciences, and technology-engineering is 15.
"For candidates who have met the admission requirements to Hong Bang International University through the methods of academic records or considering the ability assessment test scores and have received early admission notice from the school, to be officially recognized as admitted, candidates need to put the eligible major that the candidate wants to study as their first choice," Master Tran Thuy Tram Quyen, Vice Principal of Hong Bang International University, reminded candidates.
Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training had an official decision on the minimum score for health and teacher training (pedagogy) majors. For the group of health majors with practice certificates, the threshold for ensuring quality in medicine and dentistry is 22.5 points; pharmacy and traditional medicine is 21 points; health majors including nursing, preventive medicine, midwifery, medical testing techniques, medical imaging techniques, rehabilitation techniques, and dental prosthetic techniques are 19 points.
