On the morning of March 30, about 128,000 candidates in many provinces and cities will officially take the first round of the 2025 capacity assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University. Accordingly, the exam will take place simultaneously in 25 provinces/cities (from Thua Thien Hue to Ca Mau) with 135 exam locations. Of which, Ho Chi Minh City is the locality with the largest number of candidates with more than 51,000 students and taking the exam at 35 exam locations. Candidates will take a paper-based competency assessment test consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions with three parts: language use (60 questions), mathematics (30 questions) and scientific thinking with 30 questions.
