The 12th OpenTESOL Conference was attended by more than 300 scientists, managers, researchers, teachers, lecturers, graduate students, postgraduate students, students majoring in teaching and applied linguistics of English, Chinese and Japanese from more than 150 universities, educational and training institutions from more than 30 countries around the world.
In addition to the main reporting sessions, the OpenTESOL12 Conference attracted a lot of attention from managers, researchers, lecturers, teachers, postgraduates and graduate students with more than 60 reports and presentations revolving around the topics: Applying artificial intelligence to personalize learning experiences, meeting diverse learning needs; Creativity and innovation in language teaching methods; The impact of technology in language learning and teaching in the current context.
Professor Nguyen Minh Ha, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, said that the OpenTESOL international conference has been held annually since 2012.
The conference is an opportunity for participants to share effective teaching methods in diverse learning environments, contributing to strengthening the network of educators and language experts, and narrowing the gap between domestic academic communities and international language education organizations and associations.
