Professor Nguyen Minh Ha spoke at the opening ceremony of the final round of the Science and Technology Award for Young Lecturers.
The final round of the Science and Technology Award for Young Lecturers has just opened in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 17 projects from universities across the country.
In the final round, 6 jury members from 26 universities and research institutes participated in the judging, including the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology, medicine, agriculture, social sciences and humanities.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City Open University (the host), said that for young lecturers, these projects will be an important starting point for their future scientific research careers. Carrying out serious scientific research projects will also contribute to promoting innovation in content, programs, and teaching methods, thereby improving the training quality of universities.
The Science and Technology Award for Young Lecturers was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for young lecturers (under 35 years old) in universities. After two times of organization, the award attracted a large number of young lecturers to participate.
The closing and award ceremony is expected to take place in November 2024 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
