Amidst the vastness of the hills and mountains, with the immense green of sugarcane, corn, cassava, rice, peanuts, and potatoes on the vast fields stretching as far as the eye can see, Tho Xuan is likened to a picturesque landscape painting bestowed by nature. Lam Kinh alone is surrounded by the “lyrical space” of nature, the rolling mountains, the green jungle, the giant old trees with the chirping of birds and the murmuring of water. This stream originates from Tay Ho, loops around the citadel and Lam Kinh Palace. According to the book Hoang Viet Du Dia Chi, the river water is clear, and the riverbed has many beautiful round pebbles.
Along with more than 200 historical and cultural relics of a sacred "ancient land", the homeland of the Le dynasty, which reigned on the throne, maintaining "national peace and people's security", "society and peace" for 362 years, through 26 Le kings.
