On July 17, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dinh province said that according to the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, Nam Dinh province ranked 2nd nationwide with an average score of 7.369 points/subject; leading the country in math scores with an average of 7.26 points, maintaining the champion position in math scores in 2023.

In the 9 subjects, Nam Dinh province ranked in the top 10 localities with the highest average scores nationwide, including: math ranked 1st with 7.26 points; civic education ranked 2nd; physics, chemistry, history, geography ranked 3rd; literature ranked 4th; biology ranked 6th and foreign language ranked 9th.
The whole province had 423 candidates scoring 10 in 8/9 subjects; notably, Nam Dinh province had 1 candidate scoring 10 in literature, Pham Quynh Anh, a student at My Tho High School (Y Yen District). This is also one of 2 candidates scoring 10 in literature nationwide.
Nam Dinh province also had 2 candidates scoring 10 in biology, 3 candidates scoring 10 in physics, 19 candidates scoring 10 in foreign languages, 48 candidates scoring 10 in chemistry, 56 candidates scoring 10 in history, 85 candidates scoring 10 in geography, and 209 candidates scoring 10 in civic education.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dinh province, after knowing the exam scores, candidates can submit an application for review of the exam, the latest submission deadline is July 26. The results of the high school graduation recognition will be announced on July 21.
In the 2024 high school graduation exam, Nam Dinh province had over 21,600 candidates participating. All 36 exam sites in the province did not record any unusual incidents or violations of regulations by any staff or candidates.
In the 2024 high school graduation exam, Nam Dinh province ranked 2nd in terms of average high school graduation exam scores. In 2019, 2020, 2022, this province led the country in average high school graduation exam scores; in 2023, it ranked 3rd in average high school graduation exam scores.
This year, the localities in the top 10 highest high school graduation exam scores in 2024 include: Vinh Phuc, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Binh Duong, Bac Ninh, Ha Tinh, Hai Phong, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, An Giang.
