Muong La completed 100% of the dry season irrigation plan.

To ensure irrigation and drainage for the 2024-2025 winter-spring crop, since January 2025, localities in Muong La district have mobilized hundreds of machines, equipment, cadres, workers and laborers to carry out irrigation in the dry season.

Accordingly, the entire Muong La district mobilized over 13,200 working days to implement the movement of all people doing irrigation. The result: dredging 4,800 m3 for 214 irrigation works with a length of over 5,000 km of canals, clearing over 10,000 km of canals with a total estimated value of over 2.6 billion VND. During the implementation process, localities proactively coordinated with technical staff of the Son La Irrigation Works Management and Exploitation Company Limited Branch in Muong La to supervise the quality of irrigation works, ensuring compliance with the standards of specialized agencies, serving the maximum irrigation work. Mobilizing people to participate in irrigation in the dry season has contributed to raising people's awareness, protecting irrigation works, ensuring irrigation and drainage, serving agricultural production./.
