The sentence "Who fried that chicken so crispy" suddenly became a hit on social networks.

The player in question made his official debut last week. He dispelled any doubts about his football skills when he scored the only goal that brought victory to his team.

However, under the posts about the sentence "who fried that chicken so crispy", many social media users left many comments related to this dish.

Nguyen Huu Tho (18 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) shared that after reading the above sentence, he found it funny, fried chicken immediately appeared in his mind and "naturally thought about whether or not he should go to school to learn how to make this dish".

Besides, some people also left comments wondering "Where to learn how to make delicious fried chicken?", "How to sell 10-15 tables a day", even career orientation, starting a business from this dish.

Crispy fried chicken is easier said than done!

According to Master Tran Phuong, Principal of Viet Giao Secondary School, preparing chicken dishes, including fried chicken, sounds easy, but not everyone can make them deliciously and methodically, and opening a restaurant is even more complicated.

To prepare dishes, people can learn in many different ways, the simplest is to learn from social networks, learn from relatives or learn at vocational schools, each way has its own advantages and disadvantages.

According to Master Phuong, learning through social networks, culinary forums... is a flexible, cost-effective way to learn and can be practiced at home. However, with this way of learning, there is no direct instructor and it is difficult to correct errors when preparing dishes.

Meanwhile, studying at a vocational school, although having to follow a fixed schedule, will provide systematic knowledge. Students will practice cooking under the guidance of experienced instructors, have the opportunity to learn advanced techniques and have certificates proving their ability.

Master Nguyen Dang Ly, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City International College, added that vocational schools often have practice kitchens for students to experience and improve their skills; students can study practical modules outside of businesses and have business internships so they are not surprised when they go to work.

“You can build relationships with chefs, businesses and industry experts through seminars, city and international competitions to develop your career after graduation,” added Master Ly.

According to Master Ly, if you have the passion and goal of becoming a professional chef, formal education will help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge. When you want to open a restaurant or eatery, having in-depth knowledge of cooking and management will be an advantage when starting a business.

Talking about career opportunities in the culinary profession, Master Vo Thi My Van, Principal of Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hospitality, said that after graduation, many students will work in restaurants, hotels, wedding centers or start their own businesses...

Currently, some secondary schools and colleges offer training in culinary arts with a variety of training types such as: Viet Giao Vocational College, Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hospitality, Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics and Tourism, Saigon College of Technology and Tourism, Ho Chi Minh City International College, Saigon College of Tourism, College of Technology II, Vien Dong College, Vietnam College of Industry and Commerce... In addition, some universities also offer training in culinary arts-related majors such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Commerce, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry...

"Just cooking well cannot open a restaurant"

According to Master Tran Phuong , to open a restaurant selling food, you not only need to know how to prepare food but also have knowledge about restaurant management and customer service.

According to Master Nguyen Dang Ly, if you have knowledge and experience, opening a restaurant or eatery is completely feasible. However, you need to carefully prepare a business plan, capital and marketing.

After 2 years of studying culinary techniques specializing in European cuisine at Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hospitality, Ms. Vu Hoang Trinh (28 years old, from Dak Lak) went to work at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City to gain experience. After about 3 years, she decided to return to her hometown to open a shop specializing in fried chicken, pizza and spaghetti. Her shop is also the only shop selling this type of food in the area.

To open a store specializing in fried chicken, pizza and pasta, Ms. Vu Hoang Trinh had to endure a lot of pressure.

Ms. Trinh also shared that the knowledge she learned at school has supported her a lot from working as a hotel employee to opening a shop, especially in calculation and management. "Just cooking well cannot open a restaurant," Ms. Trinh said.
