Mr. Luong Huy Khang - Director of NQH English System proves that learning English well seems unrelated to living green, but in fact the two support each other a lot.

As the "judge" of the Beautiful Life contest in the photo category, photographer Le Xuan Thang assessed that the environmental theme that season V focuses on is topical. In this contest, he made comments that both contained the thoughts of a professional and of someone who always thinks about the small things in life around him.
He "believes that we should not look for far-fetched kindness, but that all of it is very simple, contained in small topics around us." And he believes that the contest will have works that heal everyone.
Photographer Le Xuan Thang believes that the highest value of photography is to preserve memories and contain the truth of life. "Therefore, I recommend that if any photographic work in the competition uses Photoshop, the organizers should pay special attention. I highly value journalistic works - containing the truth of life," he added.
Let's fan the flame of 'Living beautifully'
The petite woman wearing a red shirt with a yellow star on her chest, nicknamed "the golden girl in the garbage-picking village", Nguyen Ngoc Anh, brought to the discussion very ordinary and interesting shares about the activities she has carried out to restore a green environment.
There is a story that she remembers forever, which is also one of the motivations that urged her to found the Green Community Vietnam. She said: "Once when I went to the beach, I was impressed when I saw the children building a trash castle together instead of a sand castle. I asked them why they built a trash castle, and they innocently replied: 'We just built what we saw'. I choked up at that statement because I realized the environmental responsibility weighed heavily on them. After that, we started a campaign to clean up trash."
Young people frankly asked questions to the speaker.

I think the fire of love for the environment is already within us, and now how can we fan that fire even more?", said Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh.

Nguyen Ngoc Anh recalls that 6-7 years ago, people's awareness of picking up trash was not high. However, the people who picked up trash with her from the movement inspired many others, so the trash picking campaign was expanded to all 63 provinces and cities.
The goal of the Green Community of Vietnam in the coming time is to make more people know about it and implement it. "Especially in the past 5 years, my team and I have actively brought the movement into schools, attracting the response of many students. I think the fire of love for the environment is already in us, and now, how to fan that fire even more," she said.
Ms. Anh concluded: "We may not be able to do great things, but we can do small things and who knows, those things may create extraordinary things."
Talking about green living among young people, Mr. Luong Huy Khang - Director of NQH English System always emphasizes English skills. According to him, foreign languages will help young people a lot to be aware of environmental protection, especially in the context of English being widely used as it is today.
He explained: "I thought they were unrelated, but when I got involved, I realized that both are important and mutually supportive. Those who know English will easily classify waste at the source using the instructions posted on public trash cans. While English is a tool in life, for young people with proficient English skills and knowledge, their awareness, behavior, and habits will gradually improve, making it very easy for them to live a green and useful life. In addition, when they have English, they can easily exchange experiences and information quickly with international environmental organizations."

Mr. Luong Huy Khang recalls: "A long time ago, we and our students and staff went to a polluted canal in Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City to clean it. During that process, we came to understand the suffering of the people there. That is why every teacher in the NQH Education System is always an ambassador for environmental protection. We raise awareness among students through extracurricular lessons, answering questions that many children do not know who to ask: Why do we have to protect the green planet? Why do we have to save electricity and water?...".
"Everyone wants to live well, protect their health, their community, their nation, and more broadly, the world. To do so, we must behave kindly towards the environment and protect the earth we live on. I feel very lucky and happy because this year I was invited to be a judge for a humane and meaningful contest like Living Well by Thanh Nien Newspaper," writer Phan Hon Nhien confided.
