Running red lights, driving the wrong way, climbing sidewalks, using phones... are common violations of technology-based motorbike taxi drivers on Hanoi's roads.
According to the Hanoi Department of Transport, the city currently has a total of 30 districts with 584 wards, communes, and towns, and 839 administrative units. Regarding means of transport, Hanoi currently has 5.2 million motorbikes, over 1.2 million bicycles, over 11,000 electric bicycles and electric motorbikes (not to mention the number of about 10-15% of vehicles from other provinces operating). Meanwhile, the operation of two-wheeled vehicles carrying passengers and people is very vibrant in Hanoi, but in reality, there are many cases of traffic violations that cause headaches.
