What is the salary in Logistics industry?

Logistics is a part of the supply chain, which involves the storage, transportation of goods and services from the point of origin to the point of consumption.

Currently working in human resources at an import-export company in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Chi (37 years old) said that logistics personnel are divided into many levels and have better income than the average.

In addition to attractive salaries, the Logistics industry also offers students many job opportunities. According to the 2022 forecast of the Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute, by 2030, Vietnam will need an additional 2.2 million workers in the Logistics industry, 10% of which will be high-quality human resources with foreign language proficiency. Meanwhile, each year, only about 2,500 bachelors in this field graduate.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the admission threshold for Logistics and Supply Chain Management is 27.4 points (A00; A01; D01; D07). The school estimates tuition fees for the next school year to range from 16 to 22 million VND/school year.

Vietnam Maritime University (Hai Phong) currently offers two majors related to Logistics: Logistics & Supply Chain, International Business & Logistics.

With the admission method based on high school graduation exam results, the standard score for International Business & Logistics is 23 points (A01; D01; D07; D15), Logistics & Supply Chain is 25.75 points (A00; A01; C01; D01).

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics is training two majors related to Logistics: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Logistics Technology. In 2023, the Logistics and Supply Chain Management major will have a standard admission score of 27 points (A00; A01; D01; D07) and the Logistics Technology major will have a standard admission score of 26.09 points (A00; A01; D01; D07).

For the 2023-2024 school year, the school sets the tuition fee at 940,000 VND/credit.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport is training 4 majors related to the field of import and export, including: Logistics and transport infrastructure, Logistics and multimodal transport management, Port management and logistics.

Of which, the Logistics and Transport Infrastructure major, high-quality program, has the lowest admission score, while the Logistics Management and Multimodal Transport major, mass program, has the highest admission score.
