British travel magazine Time Out has released a list of the eight most worth-visiting destinations in Asia by 2025, including a city in Vietnam.
These are emerging “tourist hotspots” that are increasingly becoming destinations for travelers looking for alternatives to crowded places like Bali, Tokyo and Bangkok. Time Out notes that all eight destinations on the list have breathtaking natural attractions, rich cultures and great cuisine that can satisfy even the pickiest of travelers.
Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula has a panoramic view of the East Sea and Da Nang City. The pagoda has a 67m high statue of Buddha Quan Am, a large campus, in harmony with the cool green nature, attracting tourists to worship and sightsee.

Ranked third, Da Nang is the name mentioned by Time Out. "Located between Son Tra Mountain and the East Sea, Da Nang has long been a favorite beach destination for tourists in the region. Always known for its charm, this coastal gem is rapidly developing in all aspects of tourism. This year alone, Da Nang has appeared on the world culinary map with 16 new Michelin Bib Gourmand entries and the first Michelin star belonging to the French restaurant, La Maison 1888", Time Out introduced.
The magazine also recommends that visitors rent a motorbike and drive the scenic Hai Van Pass or head to Hoi An, the beautiful ancient town famous for its colorful lanterns and well-preserved buildings…
The remaining list in the top 8, in order, includes Sumba, Indonesia; Siargao, Philippines; Tainan, Taiwan; Ipoh, Malaysia; Osaka, Japan; Nan, Thailand; Lijiang, China.
