Inter-family group 7, Kinh Nam village, Thach Hung commune (Ha Tinh city) completed the asphalt paving of the seams in just one day. Many happy stories gathered around the "great solidarity".
At 6am, the group's zalo group was bustling. People were calling each other to prepare to cover their houses so that the workers could come and blow away the dust. At 8am, the first asphalt trucks arrived.
The sun rose and the workers came to blow dust from the road surface in the inter-family group.
The construction monitoring “team” continuously updates the progress and quality reports to the group. Some provide technical documents for other departments to monitor, others suggest that this area should be carpeted more. Others take the opportunity to... write poetry.
Then, in the excitement, a poetry contest about: “hot plastic”, about great solidarity, about inter-family sports... was suddenly launched on the zalo group. As a result, 5 or 6 six-eight poems were quickly completed, receiving many “hearts” and status smileys.
The working atmosphere is cheerful and bustling.
The weather was favorable. The sun was shining brightly, the sweat of the workers darkened their shirts. By 12 o'clock, the most difficult sections of the road had been paved. After work, people were eager to go home to see the new road. The conversation on zalo was very lively, with old and young, men and women. It was a very open and enthusiastic inter-family group.
After lunch, the workers did not blink an eye and hurriedly “robbed” the sun to complete the routes according to the “finalized” orders. Then the sun finally passed through a sunny day. The inter-family group was overjoyed because in just one day, all 4 asphalt routes with more than 2000 m2 of surface were completed. People were amazed, the sound of laughter echoed throughout the alley. The day of great unity seemed to have come from today!
The day is done. The lights in each house turn on, the whole group gathers together to "let the children carry their mother for once" with a meal together at the stone table and chairs... Around 9pm, everyone goes home with joy: Tomorrow is the weekend, we clean up and make drainage ditches.
One day everything is done. No joke! There must be a specific plan, one person can contribute more than another without comparing, one person can contribute more than another without being jealous. Nine out of ten... very good, that's all!
So many things to be happy about before the day is over - the day of completing a large-scale asphalt paving project.
Only then can we see that when the people are determined, anything can be accomplished. When the people are the real subject, everything can be completed quickly and smoothly.
The cheerful working atmosphere always "keeps the rhythm" all day long.
Thinking about it, I suddenly looked. Right in the middle of the family nest, two major roads were invested by the State but for a long time they just... stood still. No, to be more precise, they were standing still and divided into many more places.
To the point where, from the inter-family group to the main road, one has to get off the motorbike and walk across the ditch when the weather is clear, and wade through the water when it rains. The ditch is about 60cm higher than the road in some places. How many falls and injuries have happened to the elderly?
A driver deliberately crossed the ditch to enter the 7th inter-family group. He was forced to call for help to escape the deadlock after many hours.
About a year, the two main roads were sunny and rainy again. Mrs. Men, who sold wet cakes at the beginning of the alley, was sad. She moved her flexible left hand quickly and her mouth was busy chewing betel, not bothering to speak.
“Last year’s Tet was already miserable, covered in red dirt. This Tet doesn’t look like it’s going to be any better” – she blurted out, the betel nut almost falling off. Then she clicked her tongue: “I’ll just roll the cake. Never mind!”
The road roller reaches its final point at the junction of a major road.
The indifference of the people is like a difficult note to understand. Yet, the people here only whisper to each other about the road, then from the road to the electricity... but nothing is clear or progresses as each day, each month passes!
