More than 50 artists and designers join the Ao Dai Festival
This year's Ao Dai Festival has the theme I love Vietnamese Ao Dai , marking the 10-year development of the festival, and will take place from March 7 to 17. More than 30 Ao Dai designers are accompanying the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival , such as: designers Do Trinh Hoai Nam, Vo Viet Chung, Viet Hung, Thuy Nguyen, Trung Dinh, Le Long Dung, Ngo Nhat Huy, Vu Thao Giang, Tuan Hai, Duc Vinicie, Ta Linh Nhan, Viet Bao, Brian Vo, Minh Chau... Many artists continue to accompany as image ambassadors, such as: artists Phi Dieu, Kim Xuan, Trinh Kim Chi, Miss Ngoc Chau, Miss Thu Uyen, Miss Thanh Ha, photographer Quy Coc Tu, MC Quynh Hoa, singer Nguyen Phi Hung... Miss Ngoc Chau said she always prioritizes wearing Ao Dai at events and activities at home and abroad to spread Ao Dai to more people. "As an ambassador, Chau will accompany the festival's activities throughout, taking advantage of social networking sites to promote new information about Ao Dai" - Ngoc Chau shared with Tuoi Tre. Artists Kim Xuan and Trinh Kim Chi have accompanied the Ao Dai Festival from the beginning, have special feelings for Ao Dai and always accompany as ambassadors. Psychologist Ly Thi Mai hopes that every Vietnamese person will be an ambassador of the Ao Dai Festival to promote Ao Dai to become a popular costume for people to wear regularly.

Support designers in selling and promoting Ao Dai
One of the new features of this year's Ao Dai Festival is to support designers using the TikTok application to sell and promote Ao Dai. Accordingly, TikTok will livestream two free sales sessions for designers. In addition, TikTok staff will visit each designer's showroom to support designers in using the sales application most effectively. Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism - hopes that the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival is not only a tourism and cultural product of Ho Chi Minh City in particular but also of Vietnam in general, not only contributing to preserving and promoting the national cultural identity but also promoting the image and destination of Ho Chi Minh City to international visitors, continuing to maintain the position of Ho Chi Minh City tourism. The 2024 Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival is expected to open on the evening of March 7, at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue Walking Street (Ho Chi Minh City). To ensure that people can comfortably watch the Ao Dai performance, the organizers arranged 1,500 seats and installed additional LED screens on Nguyen Hue walking street.
