Tez wins Group C
Rap Viet episode 12 season 3 aired on the evening of August 13, witnessing the competition of contestants in group A and half of group C.
Representatives participating in the competition in group A include Mikelodic - coach team Thai VG, Double2T - BigDaddy team; Dlow - B Ray team and Hydra - Andree Right Hand team.
In group C, the two remaining contestants are Tez - BigDaddy's team and VolTak - Thai VG team.
VolTak combines rap and beatbox in the performance "Dream soldier".
Contestant VolTak opened Rap Viet episode 12 season 3 with the rap "Dream soldier". Despite being a newcomer, VolTak was still confident on stage thanks to his powerful voice and amazing beatboxing ability.
He was complimented that the energy in this round was more evenly distributed.
Meanwhile, Tez performed the rap "Enjoy this moment" with the support of Vu Thao My and Anh Tu.
Coach Andree commented on the performance: "I really enjoyed your performance."
In the breakthrough round, BigDaddy said he wanted Tez to bring back his strengths.
Coach Thai VG said: “You have always been my favorite contestant, I really like the message you put into your performance. Sometimes we focus too much on work, causing ourselves to be pressured and forget to enjoy life.”
In the end, Tez won Group C to enter the final round of Rap Viet season 3.
Mikelodic causes a stir when he transforms into a Vietnamese soldier
In Group A, Double2T continues to prove himself as a "Highland Man" when combining folk sounds (tinh lute and coi singing) and modern music into his rap.
He also wore a flute on his shoulder and danced on the stage of Rap Viet episode 12 season 3.
Double 2T performed bamboo dance in their competition.
After watching the performance, Coach B Ray shared: "This beat is really amazing, you combined the choreography and lyrics so well and today you have become much more confident!"
Meanwhile, Dlow entered the breakthrough round with confidence in the "Easygoing" competition.
However, the judges and coaches think that the contestants should be more open-minded and smile more because that is what everyone here and all of Dlow's fans want to see.

Bringing the performance "The Storks Fly Away", Hydra was recognized for its way of exploiting the theme and musical thinking.
Coach BigDaddy said: "I really like the theme that Hydra exploited. It used the image of a stork looking for food to take care of its family. It's a very beautiful image...".
Rap Viet episode 12 season 3 witnessed Mikelodic's explosive performance in group A. He brought to the Breakthrough round the song "Golden Song" with the image of the soldier he experienced when he was 18 years old.
He hopes that when his brothers join the army, they can listen to this song to gain motivation to serve the Fatherland, and: "I want people to see me as a Vietnamese soldier rapping," Mikelodic said.
Mikelodic received a "shower" of compliments when transforming into a Vietnamese soldier.
Coach Thai VG commented that Mikelodic is a very versatile person and his current strengths will help you separate yourself from the remaining opponents in the group.
When he first heard the topic "Vietnamese idioms, proverbs, folk songs, and literature", Mikelodic said, the phrase "Overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain" immediately appeared in his mind because it was very close to himself.
He hopes to make a song that young men joining the army can listen to to gain motivation to serve the Fatherland.
At the end of the performance, judge Suboi commented: "This is the first time I've watched a rap song that made my heart flutter so much that I wanted to cry."
Judge JustaTee shared: “In Thai's team, Mikelodic is a very special factor. I see that you are very determined to bring the cultural values that you respect into your music.”
B Ray even said that he felt like he was watching the final early.
At the end of Rap Viet episode 12 season 3, Thai team VG officially won the second ticket for Mikelodic to enter the final night.
