Vietnam Airlines has issued a warning after it was spoofed by some places selling career experience programs.
On the evening of June 27, a media representative of Vietnam Airlines said that some social networking sites had illegally used images of the airline's staff and aircraft, then ran advertisements selling summer camps.
The fake pages have many names such as Vietnam Airlines Summer Camp, Vietnam Airlines Talent Training, Vietnam Airlines Career Guidance for Young Pilots, Vietnam Airlines Experience with Children, Airlines - Journey of Love.
"Currently, Vietnam Airlines only has the aviation career guidance program Vietfuture Day Camp," quoted from the airline's announcement.
This program has been co-organized by Vietnam Airlines since last year. In one day, at a cost of 2.5 million VND, students are instructed on appearance; play the role of pilots and flight attendants; visit the aircraft cabin and simulated cockpit; and experience handling flight safety situations.

The summer camp model appeared in Vietnam about 10 years ago. According to preliminary statistics from the Department of Children, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, on average each summer, military semesters attract from 100 to 600 children, police semesters from 100 to 300 children, summer retreats from 300 to thousands of children. In addition, many units organize other diverse activities. The cost of domestic programs ranges from several million to tens of millions of VND, depending on time and location.
