Series of "Make in Vietnam" technologies showcased at Mobile World Congress 2025

DNVN - At the Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC Barcelona 2025), Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group demonstrated 22 technology products researched and developed by Viettel in the group of 5G infrastructure, digital platforms and digital applications.

The Mobile World Congress (MWC Barcelona 2025) takes place from March 3 to March 6 in Barcelona, ​​Spain. This is an annual technology event, attracting leading technology corporations such as Samsung, Qualcomm, Intel, Huawei, Ericsson, Dell Technologies, Meta, Docomo, AT&T... and more than 200 representatives from countries to seek opportunities for cooperation, business, research and development. This is the 8th time Viettel has attended and is the only representative of Vietnam to introduce technology at MWC.

Major General Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel, said: “At each MWC, Viettel introduces its products and technological solutions and attracts the attention of thousands of people, businesses and governments around the world. This is a source of pride and motivation for Viettel to continue to create new products and services. This is also an opportunity for Viettel to update the progress of science and technology from international partners to apply in Vietnam and expand investment and export Vietnamese technology to the world.”

At the event, Viettel will sign business cooperation and technology development agreements with TikTok, Visa, China Telecom Global, Pegatron, Twillio, SANY...

Viettel's demonstration and business activities at MWC affirm Vietnam's technological capabilities when present at one of the largest global technology events.

At MWC Barcelona 2025 with the theme Converge.Connect.Create, Viettel brought 22 products in 3 groups of infrastructure, platform and application to serve the needs of connection, data management and processing, applications serving businesses and users. This is the largest number of products in 8 times Viettel participated in MWC, an increase of 5 products compared to 2024.

The products are selected based on the criteria of new technology products, new ideas, and socio-economic contributions in Vietnam, Viettel's business markets, and export markets. The series of products are displayed in a 2-storey space with the theme of technological innovation for sustainable development - technological solutions to solve global problems.

The network infrastructure group includes products in the 5G ecosystem (5G Private, 5G ORAN, 5G Core), chips designed by Viettel (RF-SoC, security chip, 5W X-Band FEM chip), digital copies of telecommunication stations and logistics robot complexes.

The digital platform group includes services providing APIs from mobile networks, content distribution networks, data center infrastructure management systems, new generation network security platforms, and intelligent traffic management systems.

The digital application group includes virtual assistant, meCall video waiting, Mydio audiobook, TV360.

Viettel products help build high-performance digital infrastructure, automation, applications that increase accessibility and personalization according to customer needs. These are products researched and developed by Viettel, and are sold in Vietnam and 10 foreign markets, as well as exported to India, the Philippines, and the UAE.
