The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the 2nd Hanoi Autumn Festival in 2024.
The Hanoi Autumn Festival is held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the capital (October 10). This is also a prominent event promoting the beauty, cultural and historical values, tourism, exploiting the uniqueness, attractiveness, honoring the famous landscapes, destinations, relics, and heritages of the capital Hanoi - an attractive, quality and safe tourist destination.
The highlights of the festival are spaces and models introducing and promoting Hanoi's historical relics, recreating the image of a bustling Hanoi filled with flags and flowers welcoming the victorious army back, "Hanoi 12 seasons of flowers", a space promoting craft village products and a culinary space "Fragrance of Hanoi".
In addition, within the framework of the program, there are also parades and performances by the city's youth union and 30 districts, towns and cities (lion and dragon dances, mid-autumn lantern processions, kite and flower performances, dry puppetry...), introducing the culinary culture of Hanoi people.
The festival brings together about 150 participating booths divided into areas according to design and staging along Dinh Tien Hoang street, Le Thach street and the Octagonal house area.
In addition, visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to experience the culture of neighboring localities, booths of international agencies...
This year's Hanoi Autumn Festival is expected to take place over four days from September 12 to September 15 at Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden, Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ly Thai To Flower Garden, Le Thach Street and several districts in the city.
The opening ceremony and art program "Hanoi Autumn - Historic Autumn" will take place on the evening of September 13 at the flower garden of Ba Kieu Temple.
