On the morning of April 17, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) - the organizing committee of V-League 2024 - 2025, announced foreign referees on duty in round 19 of V-League 2024 - 2025.

Specifically, the match between Thanh Hoa and The Cong - Viettel , taking place at 6pm on April 19, will have two Thai FIFA referees, Warintorn Sassadee and Mongkolchai Pechsri. Both will be in charge of the match and VAR.

The clash between the two teams will greatly affect the championship race. Currently, The Cong - Viettel is ranked 3rd with 30 points, only 5 points behind the top position of Nam Dinh Club. Meanwhile, Thanh Hoa Club is ranked 5th with 27 points.

Mr. Warintorn Sassadee was born in 1986 and has been recognized as a FIFA referee since 2016. He mainly works in the Thai League and has participated in several youth tournaments and World Cup qualifiers in Southeast Asia.

Mr. Mongkolchai Pechsri was born in 1981 and has been recognized as a FIFA referee since 2010. He officiated at 2 V-League matches in the 2022 and 2023 seasons and issued a total of 9 yellow cards, including 1 red card (2 yellow cards).

The next match in round 19 of V-League 2024 - 2025 with foreign referees is the confrontation between Song Lam Nghe An and Quang Nam, taking place at 6:00 p.m. on April 20.

The match is considered a "reverse final" when Quang Nam is ranked 11/14 with 20 points, followed by Song Lam Nghe An with 18 points. Each team needs a win to avoid falling into the relegation group.

The two referees in charge of this match are Malaysian FIFA referee Razlan Joffri Bin Ali and Thai FIFA referee Warintorn Sassadee. Both will be in charge of the match and VAR.
