Duong No village is located about 7km east of Hue city center. The small village located on the Pho Loi River is where Uncle Ho lived from 1898 to 1900.

In 1898, after failing the second Hoi examination, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac (father of President Ho Chi Minh) was invited by Mr. Nguyen Si Do to return home to teach (in Duong No village). The two brothers Nguyen Sinh Khiem and Nguyen Sinh Cung followed their father here.
