Ms. Pham Thi Phuong, Team Leader of the Paint Workshop Laboratory, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (Gian Khau Industrial Park, Gia Vien District) is always energetic, striving in production with high productivity, quality and efficiency, strictly following the Company's rules and regulations; constantly learning and improving professional qualifications. In particular, she has many initiatives in production activities, not only bringing economic benefits to the enterprise but also contributing to creating a safe working environment, ensuring fire and explosion prevention and fighting.

Of which, 3 initiatives were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Typical initiatives include: "Improving the connection of the pipeline from the CN2 water washing tank to the activated chemical tank in the pre-treatment line", helping to reduce product costs, with a profit value of over 321 million VND/year; "Changing the size of the solvent tank at the surface preparation locations of the paint workshop", with a profit value of over 1.5 billion VND/year for the enterprise; "Changing the method of providing and using protection for the paint spray booth", helping the Company save over 554 million VND/year.

In addition, as the Union Leader, Ms. Phuong always closely grasps the ideological situation of union members and employees in the Company; upholds the spirit of responsibility, is active and proactive, and works with the Company's Union to organize practical and meaningful activities for union members and employees. Actively studies and follows the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh, encourages union members and their families to live and work according to the Constitution and the law. From 2018 to present, Ms. Phuong has always been an excellent worker.

"Good workers, creative workers" has become a vibrant emulation movement, spreading widely among enterprises in the province. At Kyoei Steel Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tam Diep city), Mr. Nguyen Duc Hanh, Head of the Maintenance Department, is directly responsible for maintenance, repair when there are incidents on 2 rolling lines. He always upholds the sense of responsibility and sets an example in managing and operating the team's activities. In particular, he actively responds to occupational safety and hygiene and the "Good workers, creative workers" movement, constantly researching, learning, and coming up with topics, ideas, and initiatives to apply in practice, bringing many benefits to the enterprise. His initiative "Manufacture of specialized vehicles to reduce time and manpower, increase safety when removing transmission shafts and checking vertical rolling mill transmission shaft gear couplings" has helped the company benefit over 600 million VND/year and was selected to be applied to all factories of Kyoei Steel Corporation of Japan worldwide since December 2019.

With the spirit of innovation, workers like Mr. Hanh and Ms. Phuong are the "fire" that inspires their colleagues, becoming beautiful "flowers" in the garden of "Good workers, creative workers", and shining examples in production labor.

Timely rewards, motivating workers

Comrade Tran Kim Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, said: Implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Federation of Labor has focused on implementing patriotic emulation movements among workers, civil servants, and laborers. Trade unions at all levels in the province have actively innovated, created, improved the quality and effectiveness of emulation movements, notably the movements: "Good workers, creative workers"; "Emulation to serve the cause of industrialization, modernization of agriculture and new rural construction"...

At the same time, proactively coordinate with the authorities at the same level to launch emulation movements focusing on difficult, new, creative tasks that are suitable for the political tasks of each agency, unit, and locality; receiving enthusiastic participation from cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers throughout the province. In particular, movements to promote creativity have received the support of many workers in units and enterprises in the province.

In particular, in the program "1 million initiatives to overcome difficulties, be creative, and determined to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ninh Binh Trade Union has 19,330 initiatives participating, of which 19,011 are valid initiatives, the initiatives applied in practice have benefited businesses with a total value of 4,563 billion VND. Through the initiatives of workers, many businesses in the province highly appreciate the learning spirit and creative intelligence of workers and have had timely and worthy incentive and reward policies.

In order to encourage and honor the initiatives of workers, recently, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Labor Federation have promptly commended and rewarded many excellent and creative workers in the province.

In 2023, 2 workers were awarded the Nguyen Duc Canh Award; The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded 4 Emulation Flags, Certificates of Merit to 21 collectives and 107 individuals, and Creative Labor Certificates to 10 individuals. The Provincial People's Committee awarded 1 Emulation Flag and Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives, 27 individuals, and 116 direct workers. The Provincial Labor Federation awarded 16 Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit to 119 collectives and 587 individuals. During the Workers' Month of 2024, the Provincial Labor Federation and Trade Unions at all levels in the province also awarded hundreds of exemplary workers in production and business activities.

The initiatives and creativity of workers have contributed to the socio-economic development of the province in recent times. In order for initiatives and creativity to continue to spread, the Provincial Federation of Labor and all levels of Trade Unions in the province continue to thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation, continue to innovate the content and form of organization; launch emulation movements suitable to each subject and actual situation. At the same time, focus on improving the quality of timely commendation, especially for collectives and individuals who are union members, workers directly involved in production and business with many valuable initiatives and technical improvements. Thereby, helping to replicate and spread advanced examples of good and creative workers among workers.
