Building a cultural press agency and cultural journalists is considered a very broad topic that requires attention and investment of time and effort. The emulation movement must be spread deeply and substantially into each press agency and each journalist; it is both a responsibility and an inherent problem of each press agency and journalist. Assessing the role of building a cultural environment in press agencies, journalist Le Van Nhi - Editor-in-Chief of Quang Nam Newspaper, Chairman of Quang Nam Journalists Association affirmed that this is an important and urgent requirement in the context of major changes in the social environment, which is both a driving force and a challenge for press agencies and journalists. Implementing the emulation movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies" launched by the Vietnam Journalists Association, over the past years, press agencies in Quang Nam province have focused on implementing cultural agencies and journalistic culture, the implementation is associated with regulations, rules, and is based on a specific 12-point cultural criteria. However, according to Editor-in-Chief Le Van Nhi, in order for each press agency to take the lead in building office culture and agency culture, each press agency needs to thoroughly grasp and raise awareness among its members about the position and role of culture in the development of that association.

In that spirit, Quang Nam Newspaper has issued the Regulation on ethical standards for cadres and professional ethics, which includes many contents of the Press Law, the Law on Public Employees, 10 articles of the Code of Ethics for Vietnamese Journalists, Regulations on the use of social networks by Vietnamese journalists and criteria for building press agencies and cultural journalists. Notably, this regulation states the specific ethical standards in the working relationships of Quang Nam Newspaper cadres. Such as the relationship of communication and behavior with provincial leaders, departments, branches, localities, businesses, people, etc. Absolutely maintain standards in communication, clearly demonstrating the upright, neat style, and pure ethics of journalists.

Sharing about the specific regulations on ethical standards for journalists, journalist Nguyen Hai - Secretary of the Association of Journalists of Quang Nam Radio and Television Station said that when working honestly, impartially, and without profit is an indispensable quality of a true journalist. For journalists, in my opinion, honesty and impartiality are extremely important and necessary because they are the ones who can lead public opinion, so if they lack honesty and impartiality, the public will misunderstand a certain issue or event. "Working in a healthy environment, building a clean journalism team, proficient in professional skills, enthusiastic and impartial journalists in their work, the public will certainly support and trust them " - journalist Nguyen Hai emphasized.

Raising awareness and responsibility for the position and importance of culture

Building a cultural press agency and cultural journalists here requires a long-term process, determination from all levels of the local Journalists Association, leaders of press agencies and most importantly, each cadre, reporter and journalist themselves.

In Kien Giang province, implementing the direction and guidance from the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Provincial Journalists Association launched the emulation movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies" in the province. The implementation of this task aims to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, leaders of press agencies, and journalists about the position and importance of culture for the development of the country, as well as the development of each press agency, towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Journalist Doan Hong Phuc - Permanent Vice President of Kien Giang Provincial Journalists Association said that after launching, all branches had plans to implement, especially in the recent branch congress, all 10 branches included this goal in the tasks that need to be implemented in the term. Thanks to that, each member of the branches actively responded and participated, the units set specific goals and solutions to implement from now until 2025. It can be affirmed that in each locality and each branch of the Journalists Association, there will be different ways of doing and implementing the movement to build a cultural environment. But all aim at the goal of raising awareness and responsibility of the position and importance of culture for the sustainable development of journalism. Thanks to that, cultural values ​​spread from the press agency to the press products themselves will contribute to creating the reputation of journalists in that press agency. Therefore, the movement to build a cultural environment in press agencies is no longer theoretical but increasingly widespread, effective, close to reality, entering the daily and hourly working activities of journalists. Journalists in the locality and the whole country in general will not only play the role of active news reporters but also create a spreading example and from the example of journalists and press agencies, it will have a positive impact on the public, people and many other fields in social life.
