For the first time, there is a booth applying AI and robots in the tourism field at VITM Hanoi.

“The world has completely changed after the pandemic. Now tourists are more interested in quality, green tourism and environmental protection on their journey. Meanwhile, green transformation is not easy but very arduous. Therefore, we must build green destinations to elevate Vietnamese tourism. Let that greenness permeate the thinking of businesses, tourism workers and the whole community.”

Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, Head of the Organizing Committee of VITM Hanoi 2025, Mr. Vu The Binh emphasized this at the press conference to inform about the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2025 with the theme: "Developing Green Destinations, Elevating Vietnam Tourism." This year's fair will be held from April 10-13, at the International Exhibition Center ICE Hanoi (Cultural Friendship Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hanoi).

The Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association said that the VITM Hanoi 2024 Fair, organized under the theme “Vietnam Tourism Transforms Green for Sustainable Development”, has brought to Vietnam tourism a new trend of developing responsible tourism associated with environmental protection for sustainable development. Following this trend, according to Mr. Vu The Binh, VITM 2025 will announce and introduce typical green destinations of Vietnam, attractive and diverse green tourism products to attract businesses and visitors to the fair.

Notably, in this year's VITM space, the Head of the Organizing Committee revealed that the Vietnam Tourism Association will organize a booth to introduce some successes of the digital transformation program, including introducing typical applications of artificial intelligence (AI), of robots in the fields of travel, hotels and tourism services.

Regarding the activities of this year's fair, Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Lan, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said that at VITM Hanoi 2025, many activities will take place, of which the most typical are trade activities with 450 booths, attracting the participation of 60 domestic and foreign tourism promotion agencies, 8 airlines, 16 countries and territories and more than 600 businesses. There are currently 1,228 appointments on the VITM system.

In addition, visitors will have many interesting experiences with promotional programs such as tours, air tickets, hotel rooms, local OCOP products and many attractive destinations across the country.

With tourism promotion activities, at the Fair, there will be many meetings between businesses and businesses (Business to Business - B2B); businesses and consumers (Business to Consumer - B2C); Vietnamese and international tourism promotion agencies will organize many tourism promotion activities, introduce tourism products, destinations, tourism stimulus packages, new technologies and tourism trends; promote tourism programs and events of localities, businesses, domestic and international destinations.

Elevating Vietnamese tourism

The forum “Developing Green Destinations, Elevating Vietnam Tourism” is one of the highlights of the fair, which will take place on the morning of April 11. It is expected that 200-300 delegates will attend, including representatives of state management agencies, domestic and international tourism experts, tourism business leaders, as well as destination management agencies, media agencies, etc.

Delegates will exchange and discuss the development of green destinations in the tourism sector; realize initiatives to approach and expand the market for green tourism business models, and gradually implement digital transformation to promote the development of Vietnamese tourism in general and green tourism in particular.

According to the organizers, this VITM art performance continues to bring a vibrant, colorful atmosphere with many unique performances, imbued with traditional cultural elements by domestic and international art troupes, which will be performed on the main stage of the fair. Notable among them are the tuna performance from Phu Yen, the cultural art troupe from Da Nang, and art troupes from Malaysia, Taiwan (China)...
