On April 3, at Thien Cam tourist area (Thien Cam town, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh), the atmosphere here was quite vibrant, the whole tourist area was like a miniature construction site when a series of restaurants, hotels, and entertainment areas were rushing to renovate their facilities, decorate the landscape, and clean up the environment to prepare to welcome tourists.

In addition to renovation activities, many hotels are also investing in construction projects, and check-in locations are also being newly decorated.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung (45 years old, owner of Hung Hong restaurant) said that his family used to have a kiosk on the dike at Thien Cam beach. In 2023, to implement the policy of renovating the tourist area, his kiosk along with 45 kiosks of other households had to be cleared and the land returned.

In early 2025, his family rented a plot of land facing the beach and hired dozens of workers to rebuild the new restaurant. Up to now, the cost of building the restaurant has reached hundreds of millions of VND and is in the final stage of welcoming guests.

“We are working hard to complete the restaurant soon, in time to welcome guests during the upcoming holidays. Hopefully this year's tourist season will welcome a large number of visitors to enjoy entertainment so that restaurants can have more income and local people can have more jobs,” Mr. Hung shared.

Not far away, below the beach, many workers are also operating excavators to level the ground, renovate check-in and entertainment spots for young people.

While instructing a group of workers, Mr. Tran Xuan Vu (40 years old, investor of the check-in point Beach Club Thien Cam) said that 3 days ago, Thien Cam beach had big waves that washed a large amount of soil into the sea. The incident caused many decorative items erected on the shore to fall and be damaged, causing damage of about 200 million VND.

“Over the past few days, we have had to mobilize dozens of workers to quickly repair damaged items and renovate the space in time to welcome visitors to check-in and use the services,” said Mr. Vu.

According to Mr. Vu, the check-in point Beach Club Thien Cam was invested by him about 4 years ago with a large amount of money. Every night, this place welcomes about 500 tourists to check-in, have fun, and drink drinks. Although the investment amount is large, the operating time is less than 3 months each year, so the revenue is quite limited.

Mr. Pham Van Tuan - Head of Thien Cam Tourist Area Management Board - said that the unit is currently arranging human resources to organize environmental sanitation in the tourist area, clean and renovate the beach surface, and renovate the lighting system on the roads.

In addition, the management board also urged businesses to actively upgrade hotels and restaurants, build entertainment products, and prepare necessary conditions to serve tourists.

At the same time, coordinate with businesses and units to develop plans to organize many fun activities and festivals; promising that this year's tourist season will bring many experiences to visitors to Thien Cam beach.
