Last year, despite many difficulties and challenges, Ky Anh district achieved many positive results in implementing political tasks. This was thanks to the efforts, solidarity, creativity, and flexibility in leadership and direction of the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level and the consensus of the people.
During the year, the propaganda work of the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State, patriotic emulation movements... was carried out regularly, promptly and in-depth by Party committees, grassroots Party cells, agencies and units. The organization of studying, thoroughly grasping and implementing the Party's resolutions and directives was carried out seriously, ensuring quality and progress.
In 2023, the district opened 5 Party awareness training classes for 305 people; 3 new Party member classes for 143 comrades; 1 elementary class on political theory for 67 students; 16 specialized classes, specialized professional training for 5,892 students.
The cadre work was carried out synchronously and seriously, ensuring the requirements on standards, quantity and quality; completing the inspection and supervision program and plan; focusing on the work of developing party members. The whole district admitted 171 outstanding people to the Party (achieving 114% of the plan); officially transferred the Party to 157 comrades, transferred party activities to 310 comrades; awarded Party badges to 289 party members; issued new and reissued 331 party cards.

The leadership and direction of socio-economic development were focused on implementation, with 20/21 targets reaching and exceeding the plan. Of which, the total product value reached VND 8,850.26 billion, reaching 107.79% of the plan, up 14.62% compared to 2022; average income per capita was VND 49.09 million/person/year, reaching 104.45% of the plan, up 9.45% compared to 2022; the product value in the agricultural sector reached VND 2,489.13 billion, reaching 104.27% of the plan, up 8.59% compared to 2022; total output of grain crops was 57,198.8 tons, reaching 103.34% of the plan, up 4.03% compared to 2022; Rice yield reached 54.5 quintals/ha, an increase of 1.5 quintals/ha compared to the plan, an increase of 2.02 quintals/ha compared to 2022.
The national target program on new rural construction and urban construction in Ky Dong continues to be focused on, directed and achieved comprehensive results. Up to now, Ky Anh district has 20/20 communes meeting new rural standards; completed 9/9 criteria for new rural districts; had 1 more commune meeting advanced new rural standards, bringing the total number of advanced new rural communes to 5 communes; Ky Chau commune met model new rural standards; 118/153 villages met model new rural residential area standards, reaching 77.1%; Ky Dong commune has completed the criteria for type V urban areas, which are being appraised by the Department of Construction and submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for recognition.
Currently, the district is appraising, evaluating, classifying, and recognizing 4 3-star OCOP products, with a total of 18 OCOP products (2 4-star products, 16 3-star products); supporting the proposal of ideas, building production and business plans to develop OCOP products for 11 products; strongly applying digital transformation in the production and business of organic agricultural products, clean agricultural products, and OCOP products.
Site clearance work is directed with attention, ensuring timely service and on-schedule construction of works and projects in the area.
In 2024, the Ky Anh District Party Committee will continue to promote propaganda, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; new documents of the Central, the province and the district. Continue to arrange organizations in the political system in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner. Promote emulation movements to celebrate the anniversaries of the homeland and the country. Strengthen inspection, supervision, prevention and fight against corruption. Actively mobilize people to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns.
Continue to consolidate the criteria for new rural areas at district and commune levels. Focus on and strive to turn Ky Dong into a town. Strengthen state management in all areas, especially in the fields of land, minerals, food safety, planning, etc. Continue to remove long-standing backlogs in state management; ensure social security, health care, improve the material and spiritual life of the people; ensure national defense and security, and maintain political stability.
Some specific goals for 2024 of Ky Anh district - Total product value at current prices is expected to reach 10,230.09 billion VND; - Total production value per unit area reaches 100 million VND/ha; - Grain output is over 55,853 tons; - Budget revenue: 193.65 billion VND; - Build 7 more schools that meet national standards; - The rate of cultural villages reaches over 98.5%; - The rate of domestic solid waste classified, collected and treated to standards is over 95%; - The rate of administrative procedures eligible for full-process online public service deployment integrated on the National Public Service Portal reaches 100%; - 100% of communes meet comprehensive strong basic standards... | |

The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized a number of tasks in the coming time such as: Continuing to implement the district's thematic resolutions; the province's resolutions, especially the resolution on land concentration and accumulation, administrative reform resolution, and cultural resolution to promote the cultural traditions and people of Ha Tinh; continuing to focus on building new rural areas.
