One of the outstanding activities of the district in the first quarter of 2025 was the launching ceremony to meet businesses at the beginning of the year organized by the district People's Committee. The participation of nearly 160 businesses demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and high determination in developing the local economy. Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the District Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department, affirmed: This is a positive sign showing that the business community has taken more dynamic steps in the new year. Thanks to that, industrial production has recovered strongly, businesses have maintained stable production, many businesses have boosted production, created jobs and stable income for workers.

In the first quarter of 2025, the total industrial production value of the district reached 946.6 billion VND, an increase of 5.8% over the same period last year. Many enterprises in fields such as agricultural processing, garment, mechanics, etc. have promptly innovated technology, improved product quality and sought new markets. In addition, maintaining the production rhythm has helped thousands of local workers have regular jobs and stable income, contributing to ensuring social security and improving people's lives. This is a testament to the flexible management of the Party Committee, the government and the proactive and creative spirit of the business community. At the same time, it is an important foundation for Kien Xuong to complete the economic targets set for 2025.

Identifying investment attraction as one of the important driving forces for socio-economic development, in recent times, Kien Xuong district has focused on promoting administrative reform, improving the effectiveness of state management and proactively perfecting the planning system, creating a solid foundation to attract domestic and foreign enterprises to invest and develop long-term. From the beginning of 2025, the district has directed specialized departments and offices to review and minimize unnecessary administrative procedures, shorten the time to process documents related to investment, land, construction, etc. At the same time, the district has also effectively maintained the "one-stop, one-stop" model and applied information technology in processing procedures, helping enterprises easily access information, minimizing costs and time. At the same time, the district has been urgently completing master plans, land use plans, industrial park and cluster (IC) planning, creating clean land funds, ready for investors to implement projects. Potential areas for industrial, commercial, service and urban development are being prioritized for orientation and investment in synchronous technical infrastructure, aiming to attract large-scale projects with high technology content and environmental friendliness. District leaders regularly dialogue and remove obstacles for businesses - this is a bright spot in building an investment environment. Thanks to that, businesses' trust in the government continues to be strengthened, many investors have chosen Kien Xuong as a long-term destination.

Mr. Luong Van Thuan, Director of Thuan Cuong General Trading Company Limited, said: As an investor in Binh Minh Industrial Park infrastructure, as soon as the site was cleared, the Company quickly mobilized human resources and machinery to implement phase 1 of the project. In particular, priority was given to investing in essential items, especially the centralized wastewater treatment area to ensure technical infrastructure for production activities. Currently, the construction site is taking place urgently with the goal of completing the infrastructure of 8 main roads. We are determined to attract 1-2 secondary investors to build factories in the second quarter of 2025.

Along with that, Trung Ne Industrial Park has reclaimed 25 hectares of phase 1 of the project; Ninh An Industrial Park is speeding up the construction progress of the road project to the Industrial Park. Mr. Hoang Xuan Hong, Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Kien Xuong district, said: In the past time, the Center has focused on coordinating with Vu An and Vu Ninh communes to propagate to people whose land was reclaimed to implement the project about the mechanism, compensation policies, support for site clearance and received high consensus from the people. Up to now, the site clearance work of Ninh An Industrial Park in Vu An commune has completed 19.07/19.07 hectares. In Vu Ninh commune, the compensation plan to support site clearance for 489 households with an area of 54.9 hectares has been completed.
