On October 11, the City Youth Social Work Center (Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union) put into use the toilet facility at the Ka Do Primary School branch (Nghia Hiep 1 - Ka Do commune - Don Duong district - Lam Dong province).
This is a modern toilet project implemented in accordance with the infrastructure standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The total value of the project is nearly 700 million VND sponsored by Orion Vina Food Company.
According to the City Youth Social Work Center, the toilet construction at Ka Do Primary School is part of a project to renovate and build new toilets at regional schools, implemented by the unit and sponsors.
Accordingly, a total of 8 modern toilets will be built in remote districts of Lam Dong province to serve the essential activities of students when they go to school.
The total cost of the project is recorded at over 4.5 billion VND. The program has built and handed over 8 toilets.
The City Youth Social Work Center added that, in addition to building toilets, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union also cooperated to improve students' skills in preventing abuse.
