The 2024 high school graduation exam took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.

At 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, June 28, candidates from Quang Tri province participating in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam completed the 60-minute English test, the last test of the exam. The percentage of candidates taking this test reached 99.43%.

Most candidates rated today's English test as suitable for them, with a difficulty level similar to last year's graduation exam. As one of the first candidates to leave the exam room at Trieu Phong High School, Trieu Phong District, Nguyen Trung Dung said that compared to the previous mock exams, this year's exam was somewhat easier. He hopes to score 8 points or higher on his exam.

For many candidates in Dong Ha City, this year's English exam was relatively easy, there were not many new vocabulary words, the content of the reading comprehension was interesting and interesting, and attracted the attention of young people, so they did quite well on the test and left the exam room in a very excited mood.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will take place on June 27-28, ensuring safety, seriousness, and compliance with regulations. The province has 8,402 candidates registered to take the exam, arranged at 26 exam locations with a total of 300 exam rooms. There are more than 2,200 officials, teachers, and employees working on the exam; the percentage of candidates taking the exam is 98.9%.

The invigilation of the exam at all examination sites took place seriously according to the plan. The exam questions basically met the requirements for organizing the exam. According to the assessment of candidates, teachers and public opinion, the exam questions/subjects were within the high school program, closely following the knowledge and skills standards with appropriate differentiation to achieve the purpose of being the basis for considering recognition of high school graduation and admission to colleges and universities.

The work of ensuring security, order and traffic safety in areas with examination sites was closely coordinated by the authorities. Previously, the Department of Education and Training proactively advised and proposed plans and methods for organizing the examination; focused on communication work about the examination; thoroughly grasped and organized training on implementing regulations and instructions on the examination and examination procedures for officials, teachers, staff and students; and directed the full implementation of preparations for all stages of the examination organization process.

Supporting and accompanying candidates, especially candidates at remote examination sites of the province, are volunteer teams of the Provincial Youth Union, school youth unions and charitable organizations and individuals who have donated breakfast, lunch, milk and drinks; free lunch breaks, cheap accommodation for candidates and their families. Implementing free pick-up and drop-off activities for candidates in especially difficult circumstances, candidates with disabilities; supporting learning tools and equipment for candidates; cheering and encouraging candidates and supporting situations that arise at examination sites when necessary...

The organization of the exam marking will be carried out according to the plan, completed no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 14, 2024; the exam results will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, 2024. The exam review will be conducted from July 17 to July 26, 2024. The consideration of high school graduation recognition will be completed on July 19, 2024.
